Turkey Time MMP(Somebody's gotta do it!)

After receiving some more bad news about my Dad, then seeing my son off (he’s going back to University), I went out and braved the mall. I did not have fun. I was there five damn hours. I did not come home empty handed, but it was still an exercise in frustration.

Total damage: Two pair of pumps, a pair of boots and a pair of casual shoes. Additionally, I bought two pair of slacks, four bras, and a cardigan. I never did buy any tops for myself and I wanted to. By the time I started focusing on tops, I was just too burned out.

Finding boots was hard; every time I saw a pair I liked, they didn’t have my size, or the had my size but not the right color. The same with slacks. Bras were irritating as hell. Every damn brand fits differently. I’m…um…“healthy” up top, so require support. However, I don’t like bras that ride up in the back, and I don’t like minimizer bras either. I just want the girls held up, I want them straight and not pointing to the side. Additionally, I want things to be smooth in the back and front. Jeebus, I must have tried on 40 different bras. What a pain in the ass.

Anyway, that’s the most money I’ve ever spent on myself in one shopping trip and now I’m feeling buyer’s remorse. However, it’s too late. I’ve ripped the tags off and packed some of it for my trip to Arkansas.

Dinner is cooking and soon I’ll finish packing.
