Turkey Time MMP(Somebody's gotta do it!)

Admit it. You’re really having Hamburger Helper.

I was eating something and this stopped me mid-chew.
Well, it’s been a busy, sucky kind of day. I got quite a bit done but my mood has been all over the place but mostly trending downward. It’s nice that I can recognize what triggers it but it still sucks nonetheless. And tomorrow I have an ALL DAY appointment to wait for the phone company to come and install a new landline here. Really? All day? :dubious:

Ok, enough complaining. Hopefully I’ll get some work done on my paper tonight before I go to bed. Goodnight, all.

I was wrong. The appointment time is between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m.! :mad::mad::mad:

seriously, we sent each other pics of our beds.

You should speak to your clergyman or a physician.

After receiving some more bad news about my Dad, then seeing my son off (he’s going back to University), I went out and braved the mall. I did not have fun. I was there five damn hours. I did not come home empty handed, but it was still an exercise in frustration.

Total damage: Two pair of pumps, a pair of boots and a pair of casual shoes. Additionally, I bought two pair of slacks, four bras, and a cardigan. I never did buy any tops for myself and I wanted to. By the time I started focusing on tops, I was just too burned out.

Finding boots was hard; every time I saw a pair I liked, they didn’t have my size, or the had my size but not the right color. The same with slacks. Bras were irritating as hell. Every damn brand fits differently. I’m…um…“healthy” up top, so require support. However, I don’t like bras that ride up in the back, and I don’t like minimizer bras either. I just want the girls held up, I want them straight and not pointing to the side. Additionally, I want things to be smooth in the back and front. Jeebus, I must have tried on 40 different bras. What a pain in the ass.

Anyway, that’s the most money I’ve ever spent on myself in one shopping trip and now I’m feeling buyer’s remorse. However, it’s too late. I’ve ripped the tags off and packed some of it for my trip to Arkansas.

Dinner is cooking and soon I’ll finish packing.

I talked her out of the HH.
She urged me to take the steak off the grill and thought it was too rare, so perhaps next time I’ll have the steak and she HH.

We made it home and avoided the traffic on the interstate by coming back through the country.

I have also eaten at Sticky Fingers and agree The Whole Hog is really good. I used to get to LR at least once a month for work for a little while.

Tahred and still not over this crud so early night for us.

Indeed.
I used to be able to unhook them with one hand behind Mrs. Plant v.3.0’s back, but for some reason it is much more difficult now…

Oh.
My apologies.

Well, we gotta know where to place the restraints. ;)

Good Gad, Sir!

:stuck_out_tongue: You crack me up.

I am most of the way packed. All that requires packing now are my toiletries, make-up, hair dryer and other stuff for doing my hair. My Kindle is charging and that will be tossed in my carry-on bag, along with my purse and travel documents (TDY orders, plane itineraries, reservations, etc).

I sure hope they have irons in our room. No matter how carefully I pack, my slacks always end up with some weird crease in them, so I’d like to be able to iron if that occurs.

I think you can pick up an adapter kit at Ikea.

We went this-a-way!

That is IMO absurd.
