I have survived a long day. I am eating peanut butter M&Ms, which makes things better.
Survived another Run Club caroling run; kind of like Santarchy. Weather wasn’t as bad as the forecast; so I could’ve gone as Rudolph (which my fiend got for me) instead of an elf. 
Deer material, coupled with the rain would’ve easily added 10-20 lbs making it a not fun night. Altogether, < 4.4 miles took > 3½ hrs, but for the most part, we had plenty of time to, ahhh, rehydrate, yeah, yeah, that’s it, rehydrate at the various stops along the way. 
Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffeinatin’. YAWN ‘Tis 55 and rainy out. 55 is also the high for the day. The rain shall allegedly stop this mornin’ and this afternoon it shall be cloudy and windy. We have a WIND ADVISORY in effect today. OYKW made it to the wilds of west Alabammy a little after one yestiddy afternoon. He said he got into some significant rain but all in all not too bad. The service over to the church house last night was nice and surprisin’ly well attended. Lasted right at an hour so I was back at da cave by seven-thirty. I watched two episodes of Borgia on Netflix and then went beddy bye. Oh and I did have majik intartoobz pizza for sup.

There’s something unnatural about waking on Dec 21 to 61° outside!! And rain, which would have been nastier if it had been colder. Thus beginneth my day.
**swampy **- you surely would have liked Jim. He’d been a volunteer for years at the hospital where he died. My sister said people who knew him kept coming in to visit and to say good bye - I hope he knew how much he meant to everyone.
On a happier note - TGIF! Traffic was very light and the parking lot is very, very empty - probably a combination of people on AWS and those who took off for the holidays. I expect it’ll be quiet today. We shall see.
I may have enough to keep me busy, so there’s that. And with 4 days off ahead, I’m in a pretty good mood, all things considered.

It’s raining.
It’s 46 degrees now with a high of 63 predicted.
We need to pick up groceries today. It will be wet but not cold.
I hope it stops raining, as predicted, over the weekend so we can put the yard waste bags out. Moonday is the last pickup until March.

I’ll finish drying clothes today. Although they are probably dry after being on the rack all night, but a few spins around the dryer will soften them up. I should wash washcloths today, the basket of dirties is pretty full.

Irked today, rather’n my normal Saturday. There wasn’t a lot to do, so I’m back really early, no idea what those irking tomorrow are going to have left to do. Sit around and chat, I suspect…
I was plannin’ on taking the car for a bit of a mini-pamper (refill tyres, check oil etc.) ready for heading off on Sunday, but traffic’s totally snarled up for some reason, so I ain’t going anywhere until that’s cleared.
Still have a cold and a nasty loud cough.
I wonder if, despite this, I should visit the family home for the day tomorrow. My roommate has once again expressed that she hates my cough (and she’s having guests over for the next week or so, and they might be bothered.)
I am taking cough drops and cough syrup. Dunno if there’s much else I can do while I wait out this cold.

Lunch break! I’m doing a bunch of drawing for Josh, which is good, because one that Tim brought yesterday, he took back today to change. I’d have been mightily displeased if I’d done Tim’s stuff and then he changed it. Then again, it all pays the same. 
And it’s almost the weekend - YAY!
Howdy all. Typing this from the library nearest me brudder’s house. All is well, flight went off without a hitch and weather is cold today but clear.

Blurf Got 59 minutes yesterday and today but cannot close early so come on 1700. It has been a very long week.
Just got done eating a catfish dinner from the deli at the Pubic store. It was good.
Our weather remains windy as heck but sunny. For all the hype it was not too bad but we are still under gale warnings.
I did not sleep well at all last night, maybe four hours tops. Thank goodness I have 4 days off starting today.

Went to irk for half a day. Tummy still hurts, but I think it will go away since I’m off til January 2.
Slowly but surely, people are leaving. I’ve got about an hour to go, tho my motivation is pretty much shot. I think maybe I can finish another drawing… maybe. 
The sun came out, so was a pretty day.
Groceries have been gotten, lunch has been eaten, and I did a little bit of irk outside.
Now it’s clouding over and looks like it may rain again.
I think I need a nap.
For those of you who are FB friends with my sister, she posted some photos and a lovely tribute to Jim and Jeanette.
And I’m home. And tahred. This was some week. Dunno what we’ll do for supper.

Those of you that are traveling, I hope you have wonderful trips. 
Today I woke up to rain. I don’t think it was supposed to rain, but no one asked me. I’ve been out and gotten a half-price Christmas tree, which I am inordinately happy about. Tomorrow we have Christmas dinner with out of town folks. We’ll have another one on Christmas with the folks who are always here.
I’m off to actually shop for presents in just a bit. Might as well get started.
I guess my roommate could briefly get away from my coughing if she’d just go out for an hour or so. It seems like she’s staying inside all day. Huh, maybe she’s too tired because she was kept awake last night by my coughing, who knows. (And by last night, I guess I mean this morning, because she doesn’t go to bed until 4 AM or so.)
Dang, and I thought I’d get an opportunity to do some stuff today, that I can’t do when my roommate is around because she doesn’t like the way I do things. (Plus, I want to try to avoid being nagged too much when I’m sick.)
