Do you really think this is an appropriate way for a Moderator to exercise her official powers?
Because I don’t. You are not Sheriff Buford T. Pusser facing down the bad guys. You’re a moderator in the fluffy bunny forum. Supposedly, moderators are held to a higher standard of conduct than regular posters. Think you fell short of the mark here.
Oh please. This is clearly inappropriate behaviour from a mod. If Ed is still trying to clean this place up and make it a professional endeavour, then this is not the way to go.
Not sure exactly where I am perceived to have failed – use of the word “shit”? Or telling someone who had posted what I saw as a personal attack not to do it?
You’re clearly too immature and emotional to be a mod. Based on your continued poor behaviour I’m guessing you won’t be around too long to worry about.
Save your breath, haven’t you figured out yet that she’s freaking Teflon?
Aint nothing she’s ever done that’s stuck to her. No matter what she says, to who.
Her tone isn’t her fault, she never knows what the fuss is about, and besides, whatever…
The most unprofessional mod, repeatedly, and never a clue. She’s pretty much allowed to be insulting and offensive at will. And, as you can see, freely does so.
You failed because you saw a personal attack where none existed.
I think you still don’t really understand the situation. It went like this:
**fuzzypickles ** posted a thread about his encounter with a homeless person. He finished by calling the homeless person an asswipe.
In a different thread about homeless people being hired for a murder, Happy Scrappy Hero Pup posted a *parody *of fuzzy’s thread. He described a (fictional) encounter with a homeless person, along similar lines to fuzzy’s story and phraseology. And it finished by calling the fictional homeless person an asswipe.
You then instructed him to take it to the pit. It appears that you a) missed the joke and b) thought that *asswipe *was directed against fuzzy.
I can understand that you failed to spot the parody. That’s okay. The real problem is your assumption that the word *asswipe *was a personal attack on Happy. It should have been obvious that it was directed against the homeless person. Even when you missed the joke, you should have seen that.
