Trump won in 2016 and yet wanted to investigate election fraud because he was butthurt about losing the popular vote and wanted to prove he won that too. Sometimes winning isn’t enough, they want to win Bigly.
Arizona was likely the place most cooperative with doing a recount, and if he was right and there was a coordinated nationwide conspiracy from the Democrats to steal the presidential election then fraud would appear everywhere, whether it was a place Trump won or not. If he could prove that Trump actually won with a larger margin by a dramatic amount in Arizona then that would open the floodgates and force a nationwide audit to prove Trump really won.
Oh, and there always…
Mike is insane and reason doesn’t necessarily rule decision-making.
Mike Lindell is apparently going to file his big case with the Supreme Court on the Tuesday morning before Thanksgiving, the Supremes will hear it immediately ( because that’s how it works, you know ) and vote 9-0 to reinstate Trump to the Presidency.
Mike Lindell is going to have a 3 day marathon reinstatement broadcast over Thanksgiving, so all the drunk Q uncles can own the libs in their family over the Thanksgiving turkey. Bannon predicts fistfights. I predict schandenfreude.
BTW - Happy belated Four Seasons Landscaping Day! Hard to believe it’s been a year.
As has been suggested before, I don’t think he’s being fleeced, although the stupidity is a definite ‘maybe’. I (and many others) feel he’s had a cognitive readjustment, similar to someone who’s “gotten religion”. Which considering his past history, is absolutely consistent. He believes what he’s saying, and that he’s on the side of righteousness.
While he isn’t being fleeced, he is absolutely being taken advantage of. Everyone can let him jump from wild conspiracy theory to the next, getting all the media focused on keeping the crazy accusations alive, while avoiding being hit with billion dollar lawsuits. But they aren’t making him do it, he’s doing it from the POV of a Paladin in Hell.
So, yeah, he’ll probably bankrupt himself and his company doing it, and he is probably not taking sufficient measures to hide he resources from legal jeopardy because he believes that there will be a Second Coming of Trump in which he will be justified and exalted.
If he wasn’t so dangerous, I’d spare a good 2-3 seconds of pity for him. But he absolutely deserves everything coming his way in terms of legal consequences.
Notwithstanding all the snark and specious speculation in this thread, one really has to wonder just what Lindell thinks he is doing. He is way beyond irrational with this.
To mis-quote Wolfgang Pauli, “Not only is he not rational, he’s not even irrational.”
The second answers the first. The answer almost certainly is “he is way beyond irrational on this.” I won’t be shocked if he has an actual full, hospitalizable breakdown at some point.
Isn’t today supposed to be the big day when the Supremes take up Mike Lindell’s case? 9AM, right? That’s NOW! The only open question seems to be whether they order a new election or just immediately reinstate Trump.
I’m waiting……………………Mikey seems to have been awfully quiet in the last few weeks about this auspicious day but I’m sure it’s just strategy. I hope the big Supreme Court reversal isn’t pushed off the front page by JFK’s return - because it’s only logical that he’ll return 58 years and 1 day after his death.
