There once was a girl from Nantucket…
Who dropped here DVD’s in a bucket…
um, “her DVDs”
Much to her dismay,
The MPAA…
Sued the pants off the pirating strumpet.
(Nantucket rhymes with strumpet? :dubious: :D)
Then the RIAA followed her to Pawtucket,
That’s way too many syllables.
Hey, it’s OK to be loosey-goosey with the first line of a limerick, as long as the last word ryhmes and the rest of the poem follows the syllabic rules. And are you one to quibble after after rhyming Nantucket and Strumpet? Heathen!
Let’s try this:
"The RIAA then served her notice"
found an eyelash and then tried to pluck it.
sorry squeegee, I like Miller’s line better.
Coming direct from the desk of the PoTUS
(geez it’s hard to rhyme with notice)
Alright! What in the HELL is going on in here?
OK, I grok that the OP is missing here, which explains why we’re not currently reading about a Tolkien home release. But what the heck is this limeric business doing here?
I’ll resurrect the OP I was looking for when I opened this thread (I’m not saying I didn’t appreciate the limerick, because I did :D)
“Hey, does anyone know when the Two Towers Extended DVD is coming out? Is it, like, going to have any cool additional stuff, like about the Ents and stuff?”
Ahhhh!!! My OP got eaten!
Anyway, I’ll be first in line to buy TTT:EE Tomorrow.
We want it, my precioussss…
Got it (is it tomorrow, here?).
Now waiting to finish work so I can go home and watch it…
Got it today! I pre-ordered it and it shipped Thursday.
I can’t watch the movie tonight, but may watch a few documentaries.
Brian
Even though I am prety sure the answer is “No” from the responses in a thread I posted last week I’ll ask this again just to be sure now that people actually have it in their possesion.
Did you receive free admission voucher to ROTK with the EE-DVD?
You’d think I could wait till tomorrow to find out for myself but its been bugging me.
Not in the set I got.
I suspect this is not being done here in New Zealand.
How timely. I just now got this e-mail:
I should have it on Wednesday. Cool!
