Yeah, just popping in to confirm that I cannot make it. Lousy guy in my new room ain’t starting to move until 4 PM on Friday, and I have to get all my stuff over there before saturday.
Update about the cemetery tour : apparently their regular (and only) guide is on maternity leave, they were supposed to call me back with an alternate guide that might be available, but so far no news. If there are changes I will post them as soon as I know them, but so far it looks like a no-go. OTOH, if it goes through, the tour is free but they suggest a donation since they’re a non-profit organization.
Thanks for doing that legwork, detop. Do you think going up the mountain on our own would be worthwhile? (There’s a bus that goes from Mt-Royal metro to the cemetery.)

5U1C1D3, the St-Hub in question is on the corner of Amherst & Ste-Catherine, metro Berri-UQAM. 8:30. Reservations haven’t been made yet, though. After that we’ll probably head to Drugstore to meet up with others, around 10 or so.

They took the picture on the front page on a cloudy day in the spring, so there’s no leaves on the trees, and it looks cold and rainy. How depressing. Hopefully the sun will shine on Doperéal.
I just checked the Weather Channel, and it’s supposed to be in the 80s and low 90s, partly cloudy, with low chance of precipitation. Sunday and Monday are supposed to have chance of isolated thunderstorms with temps in the low 80s.
