but i hate initiating it because i hate it when i get turned down. i know my SO finds me attractive, desirable, whatever, but it is definitely a blow to the esteem when he doesn’t concede. does everyone play these games?

I think sexual energy gets stored up like a spring, as far as i’m concerned. I find that i really take out the backlog of desires on the next girl to come along when i’ve encountered a dryspell. Case and point, this weekend it was a 3-4 times a day thing, but we are in a long distance relationship and hadn’t seen eachother for 3 weeks.
shrug Seems like all the married people above report a slowdown in sexual activity after marriage. Explain how you can go from 7 times a week before to once or twice a week after marriage?

Personally, I would have died by now. My man and I go at it 3 or 4 times a day…atleast. Some days its more. You know, first thing in the morning, in the shower, when ya get home from work, at bedtime. Of course, we only work 5 minutes from each other, so we occasionally meet up for lunch 
I also never withhold sex, even if I’m mad at him. It’s like punishing myself if I do that!!!
Hopefully the wife will give in soon!!!
