UFO Video

Could someone with experience in special effects check out this video and offer an opinion on whether its genuine?

not “genuine” in terms of being a UFO from another world type thing.

  1. if the UFO accelerated as shown in the first burst, it would leave a vapor trail, as it did in the second burst.

  2. the ending point of the first burst didn’t seem to match up to the starting point of the second burst.

  3. UFO’s don’t exist. (at least, not the LGMs)

I can’t even get the movie to play. It’s a conspiracy!

What a shocker…a poor quality video tape…stunning

Good graphics!!!

But had that been real, it would be all over the media…don’t you think WHEN it actually happens for real, it wil be plastered all over the media. I know I rather look at UFO’s than friggin Mid-East conflict and Nuclear threats…

Are you asking if this video could have been faked? Certainly it could. You don’t have to be an expert in special effects to see that. The UFO footage in Close Encounters of the Third Kind was more convincing than this*, and that was made over twenty years ago.

  • Note: Close Encounters was a movie. The UFO footage was not real. But it looked really cool.

I’ve seen model rockets make manuevers like that, but I never bothered to video tape them and show them on German (?) TV

I had the same thought, xizor.

And they were speaking Spanish. Although a woman’s voice in the recording they were showing distinctly says “it’s over there”.

      • I didn’t see the movie: it got to 99% (4 seconds left) and then hung. Maybe they’re on to me… - DougC

I couldn’t play it either, so I guess the truth is still out there.

I stop-and-go’ed it and found that the object had a clearly defined fuselage and tail seen in one frame, as well as wings. My guess is that it is a small model airplane, explaining why it came out of the building. When it shot quickly at the camera, a rocket was probably ignited, which explains the contrail.

And it is from NYC.
