People, even high-ranking people, claiming knowledge of, or belief in, extra-terrestrial UFO’s doesn’t make it true. Or any other far out claims.
For example, The CIA has used remote viewers in the past. And the British government under Tony Blair and the Ministry of Defence, tried (seriously) to locate Osama Bin Laden using remote viewers.

When I was a child in the 60s this kind of stuff sounded exciting. Mankind had barely traversed the atmosphere into space and the possibility of real alien contact seemed so real. Then I grew up. Bob Lazar came up with a really good story to bring a lot of this nonsense back to life. I give him credit for that on an entertainment level. These stories now are ridiculous, uninteresting, and only credible to the gullible, and flat out fools. But then again so are the other kinds of non-alien related idiocy mentioned here.
“Non-human biologics” is meant to suggest “Alien life forms” while leaving open the much less obvious and sexy possibility that they’re really talking about ordinary terrestrial species like dogs & chimps that had been lofted by ordinary terrestrial space programs.

If in the unlikely event that the human race lasts for several million more years, even until the sun expands and burns up the Earth, we still will not have found another intelligent, technological, space faring, race to talk to.
That is the truth that no one is willing to accept. Space is really big, there is life probably almost everywhere conditions allow. That is not in dispute. But we will never find any indication of them, meet them, communicate with them, ever.

But yeah. Look most of these UFOs are lights. Secret military craft or Alien star craft trying to make sure we dont know they are visiting- neither would be lit up. So, all those are reflections or drones or mundane aircraft or whatever. Mostly reflections. Note that rarely do those UFOs have multiple sightings, even those over major population centers.

But not stealth Air craft, and we dont care if our spacecraft our spotted, in fact we want them to.

That is very possible.
The reason spacecraft have reflective surfaces is to minimize heating from the sun. Nothing at all to do with visibility. If the UFOs are alien spacecraft, they’ll have the same issue of thermal management as we do and will likely solve it the same way.
If they’re not spacecraft but just aircraft, then they won’t have the same issue, so they can be black or whatever.

Yeah sure. But the alien UFO could come from a mothership, in fact that is really the only practical. Also, once you have FTL travel, changing colors is a snap.

I hate them for this. This is a ridiculous thing to waste time and money on. There almost assuredly are no aliens to be found. Congress is desperate to find something to do since they aren’t allowed to actually pass bills to help Americans or do anything to save our democracy. As for the lights on spaceships, I figured that the lights are part of the “reactionless drive” that they use, However it works, it emits visible light. I mean, I don’t believe alien craft exist, but if they did, that could explain the lights. Especially if the aliens are blind in the spectrum we see. Like a deaf guy riding a loud Harley, they have no idea how obnoxious and visible they are.
I think this is a result of them already expanding their base. The GOP has co-opted huge chunk of the Conspiracy Theory crowd, and those people are now a core element of their support. So the party has to pander to them by acting like they think the CTs have some merit, even as they know this is BS.
These sorts of “hearings” are the inevitable result of CT-ization of politics.
But, but, I talked to someone who said they knew someone who had seen something. Then they showed me pictures of a bug splat or other anomaly from a military targeting computer. It moved so fast because it wasn’t really there. And since all these guys were former military pilots it must be true. Hero worship counts more than evidence.
