They are ugly siblings, are they not? Can’t stand either of 'em.
Can a truck be stupid? As for the owner…
I think the Avalanche is a train wreck. It’s nothin’ like my sensible and stylish Dodge Dakota Quad Cab.
I’ll go as far as this Phlosphr …
…if it has the body armour, then BLECH! If not, it is sorta ok at best.
The oddness I have noticed about this ugly car is that it is generally driven by little blue-haired old ladies. Do you suppose it “takes them back” to the Fat-Fender days?
Mercedes G-wagen surely deserves a trophy in this ugly contest.

Add me to the crowd that tolerates the PT Cruiser. I wouldn’t object to a GT if someone gave it to me. Don’t like the convertible but I think it would appeal to women who liked the VW Cabrolet convertible.
Chrysler probably took some of the steam out of the Cruiser with the Dodge Magnum. It has more room and more engine although it might be appeal more to men.
Not sold in the USA, but I saw one in the wonderful color of Gang-Green running around Surf City the other day with Distributor license plates:
Ladies and Gentlemen, the clear winner:
I see a lot of those around, and let me tell you, they grow on you. Sure, it’s an ugly car - it looks like a form of mutant carnivorous duck - but it’s unabashedly ugly, as if it’s not even trying to conform to our accepted form of beauty. It’s like a car from a parallel universe.
Plus, it’s incredibly roomy.
Ugly begets ugly. Here’s the A140’s sire.
Check out the wipers on the headlights.
Huh? What’s wrong with that? The A-Class is a perfectly inoffensive little car.
The Chrysler Crossfire, however, is very ugly indeed. “I know, I’ll model the bonnet* after the draining board next to my kitchen sink,” appears to have been the designer’s Great Idea.
- Or hood, as I believe some people like to call it
I second the motion about the SCION “Box-On -Wheels”…that thing is plug-ugly! Of course, you could alwys use it as a hearse!
But what about the Porsche Cayenne? That has good to be the most expensive, ugly car you can find anywhere. http://content3.us.porsche.com/prod/cayenne/cayenne_main.nsf/usaenglish/cayenne
The pictures on the website don’t give it enough (bad) credit. It looks as if somebody sawed of a bit of a Porsche and taped it to his van. Hideous!!
I like the PT Cruiser, and I like the Scion xB so much after driving it that I’m seriously considering buying it. (It looks boxy but it drives like a dream and is roomy beyond words inside.)
Ugly, to me, is the Pontiac Vibe. And the Scion xA. And the Suzuki, um, Clown Car. I don’t know what it’s called but it looks like a Volkswagon Rabbit with a cancerous growth. Ug-lee and tiny and stupid inside. And I find Hummers ugly more because of what they represent than their actual looks. I’m a very polite person, but every time I encounter a Hummer I feel an urge to give the driver the finger on general principle.
The Vibe is similar to the Toyota Matrix, and I like that car. The Suzuki “Clown Car” is called the Aerio, and I like that, too.
And the Hummer thing? You’re not the first person to think of it.
Hands down, the ugliest car ever made is the Dodge Magnum
Am I the only one who thinks the Cadillac **Escalade **is just plan ugly? Why this became the SUV of choice for hip hop “artists” and NBA stars, I’ll never know.
The **Hummer **is just plain ugly as well.
Yes, the Escalade just shrieks, “I have more money than brains, and an attitude to boot.”
And the Fiat needs a design tweak. That roll of flesh below the windshield is just… wrong.
What’s wrong with the Mercedes A-class? That’s one car I wish Mercedes would bring over here. I also like the Suzuki Aerio.
Of course, if I could buy a car right now, I’d buy either a Smart fortwo or a Toyota Prius, so I probably don’t match the car-buying tastes of Middle America. Then again, I am Canadian.
Aztec and Honda Element - especially in :::shudder::: orange.
No you don’t. They fall over a lot. Google “Elk Test”.
I think the Crossfire is gorgeous beyond that pointlessly straked hood.
The Scion. Painted white it looks like a giant washing machine.
I also like the crossfire, there are many cars that are ugly in a macho way (like the Aztek, Hummer etc.) which isn’t a bad ugly. They are brutal looking but not disgusting. I still think the Fiat with its ‘roll of flesh below the windshield’ (thanks Sunspace is the epitome of ugly. The others are ugly like Ron Perlman is ugly. Ugly in a good charismatic masculin way. But the Honda Element, the Fiat, and a few others are ugly like Dame Edna Everage.
Aztec was the ugliest until Honda introduced the Element.
Aztec is just plain weird design, but the Element looks like the result of no design.
