It’s unclear to me why a second Pit thread was opened by BURNER to attack points being raised in the linked thread, which was also in the Pit.
I would venture the opinion that neither the OP here, nor the posts offered by BURNER in the linked thread, offer a particularly cogent grasp of debate.

Particularly since his first response in that thread was to liken beagledave to a schoolyard bully for opening a thread in the Pit about the issue.
After mucking through much of that thread and then all of this one to date, I’ve got to say I agree fully with Ben Hicks’ opinion as quoted above.
Ah BURNER, my poor cerebrally stunted friend. Alas, odd as it may seem, you appear to have grabbed the wrong end of the stick with your spindly, webbed little claw hands. Superiority, you may understand (although I wouldn’t bet on that), is a rather meaningless term when one is forced to deal with semi-lucid runts such as your good self. I doubt it is even possible to feel superior to someone as idiotic and disingenuous as yourself without feeling cheapened by the implication that you are on the same intellectual plane as any other member of the species. It would be more correct to say we all recognised your inferiority and decided it’d be less of a headache to let you wallow in the festering quagmire of your own ignorance since everyone else had stopped listening to you anyway. After all, as my Granddaddy used to say, you can’t win a pissing match with a skunk.
You are a waste of perfectly good oxygen that could have been put to better use spreading small pox. The fact that someone as unworthy as you is currently in a high enough position in society to spew such mindless, drool inducing swill over cyperspace when there are so many starving in the world is one which mortifies my very soul.
