So i know this guy who is a great friend of mine who unintentionally got some girl pregnant. He is a good friend, and i thought that he knew better…but apparently not…
So my question is, what, if anything, can i do? I know he messed up really bad, and all that, but i just want to do what i can to help… Anyone have any experience to draw on, so that i might be able to help?
Other than being a good friend and listening, what exactly do you think you should be doing? The situation is between him and her. Unless your friend seems to be going off the rails somehow and in need of professional help of some sort, there is no role that I can think of other than friend.

Being that I’m in a similar situation as of last week, only I’m the “friend”, I’d have to say kittenblue nailed it right on the head. Just be a friend, and if he needs you. he’ll let you know.
Make it very clear to him that you will support him in whatever he and his …partner decide to do, and that you will continue to be his friend no matter what and stand by him in his decision.
Unless, of course, that doesn’t accurately describe how you feel. But if it does, make sure you let him know that.
