I have just found my old copy of Unreal Tourney : GOTY Edition.
I suck, I mean I really suck a lot. I was wondering if any Dopers still play it as I don’t mind being fragged with you guys. 
Oh, and I’ve tried HL2, it just didn’t tickle my fancy.

What’s GOTY?
The thing I loved about UT2004 pre tedium is that I didn’t suck.
The tedium relates to sucking in the extreme.
I loved HL2 (single player).
Game Of The Year. That’s what it says anyway. Oh and I liked HL2 single player, just not so much online.
He’s talking about the first UT from '99 (last century, man!). Back then they didn’t need to put years on them because there was only one.
And Lord God a’mighty, how I loved that game.
All the more reason to join me! We can avoid all the campers and frag klinty!!
Haven’t really played GOTY edition that much online. However, I just beat Xan Griegor in the single-player mode not too long ago. That guy makes Xaero from Q3A look like candy.

I can join in for some UT:GOTY.
I’d also like to push Red Orchestra for UT2004, a free download. It’s an Eastern Front WWII version, with much more realistic effects like iron sights, exhaustion, no health packs or medics and quite a few other pieces of realism. It’s an immersive game, and makes it worth buying UT2004 all over again.
I’d like to put together a SDMB squad in Red Orchestra, so download it and contact me. We can play either Axis or Allies; as long as we keep together as a team.
Lobsang, have you tried any of the other mods from the Make Something Unreal contest? There’s enough there to keep you busy for years.
I’ll set up a UT server anytime. I’ll put SDMB in the name, I play as p$ycho_daD.
It’s a little late on Wed. for the Eastern US; when is a good time for me to run the server?

Look! So far willing to play is me, Mad Hermit and ummmm well some other people know the game so it’s only a matter of time before the players come flooding in right?
