This morning I discovered that I must have inadvertently pressed the CAPS LOCK key on my keyboard last night, sometime before going to bed, and it remained on all through the night. Fortunately I noticed something was “off” and immediately disabled it before it had a chance to do much damage. I realize that this board has an all-caps filter (and thank God— now I feel like such a heel for complaining about it in the past) but most websites don’t provide that safeguard. What if I’d written an email? What if my wife had used the computer… shit, I don’t even want to think about it.
Anyway, I just wanted everyone to know I’m OK, and please let this be a lesson. Keyboards may look like toys, but they’re not. One moment of carelessness could lead to tragedy. Always remember to “Check Twice, Type Once.”
I Survived the night with no ill effects.
I sit here now reassuring you that, piss having been thoroughly taken out of me, I am back.
