Today’s my last day here at the uni, it’s quite an odd feeling because Monday will be the first time I’ve worked anywhere but campus in 14 years…brave new world, huh? I have to go and see agency lady at lunchtime to sign paperwork and be all official for the new place which is also exciting because I’ve spoken to her many times in the last couple of years but we’ve never actually met.
I am with Swampy on the fish thing, they are nice to look at but I prefer them battered and deep-fried on a plate. And cats are way more cute.
Okay, I’ve looked for an announcement but can’t find one. This is the first I’ve heard. Was there a post? I don’t see a mention in the “In Memorian” thread.

It’s a dark 7 degrees above freezing outside with a high of 58 projected.
I am up too early, Sah-dog did the toenail tap dance next to the bed. He’s so cute though the way he wags his tail when he sees me move that I can’t be annoyed with him.
Sah-dog seldom wags his tail, he’s not an unhappy dog, just very unemotional.
If all goes well I’ll be going out to lunch with my friend today. It’s only been four weeks that we have been trying to get together for lunch.

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffienatin’. YAWN ‘Tis 68 Amurrkin out and that shall be the high for the day. Tstorms are approachin’. Biiiiiiiiiig time ones from the looks of things. I’m thinkin’ today will be an irk from home day. I need to bury myself in electronic files and such and I can do that just as well from da cave as I can from the orifice. I shall alert TPTB to communicate via email, IM, text or call my cell if needed. I don’t expect there to be a need except via email but I shall be available. I’m all responsible and growed up like that.
Ok, now I need more caffiene and rumbly tummy wants to be fed. I shall then purtify even though I shall be at home, one can still be groomed. Ok, so I’ll be in a tshirt and loungin’ pants (I guess that’s the word for long thin cotton pants that look like pj bottoms but are not pj bottoms), but one can still be properly groomed. I shall also put some chikin boobs, laigs, and thighs on to boil for the makin’ of a chikin pot pie. I got a gnawin’ and a cravin’ for that today.

flytrap AIUI the blurfs leadin’ up to the big BLURF are the wakin’ up blurfs. The gradually smaller blurfs after the big BLURF show the lessenin’ of blurfage after each cup o’ coffee.
Glad I did decide to irk from da cave today. Kitchen fridge has developed a leak. I bought the thing on 12/29/13 so it’s till under warranty. I called and someone is allegedly comin’ to look at it at some point today, probably mid afternoon. I am somewhat surprised they said someone could come today so I’m not complainin’ about lack of a specific time frame. Ain’t like I got big plans to leave today.
Life. It’s so excitatin’.
Oh and the temp has dropped to 63 Amurrkin and it’s all tstormy out.
After school I’ll have lunch (NOL?) and then head downtown.

midget NOL is because one of our rarely seen mumpers’ nicknames is Lunch. Noone Special actually has a few nicknames, but Lunch is the most frequently used.

Ah, I’ve been to some memorable band camps in my day, I tell ya. One time at band camp, we made microwave popcorn with no microwave. Heh. Good times.

Looks like the rain is gone. We had a buncha heavy tstorms this mornin’. Even lost power at da cave for half an hour.
In other news, chikin pot pie is all assembled except for the bizkit toppin’ which I’ll make and smear on top just before it’s baked. Now it’s time for N.O.L., grilled pimento cheese sammich and a cold glass of milk. N.O.L. for my inner child!
