Up All Night: An early(or late) MMP

Lolz
I already bought two LED strip light units for my 5 gallon and 20 gallon today! And I am getting 4 of these beauties in the mail today as well! An awesome independent breeder in FL put an aution up on aquabid.com just for me so I could buy them from her.

Good morning all.
{checks watch, then checks calendar}
Holy cow, it’s Friday afternoon already? Time sure plies when you’re buried under a pile a crap that stupid need to have right away.

Bob, isn’t your gall extraction scheduled for Monday? If so good luck to ya. And if not, well, good luck to you anyway.

Have a good weekend, Mumpers. I just wanted to look in and say hello.

'Twas to have happened this past Monday. The surgeon called out sick Sunday night, and I’m rescheduled for 11 March.

Chikin pot pie is bakin’ away and smellin’ yummerific! Irk is officially over for the week. YAY!!!

flytrap I like fish. Especially with tartar sauce. :stuck_out_tongue:

Well hell, Bob, you don’t want her barfing into your abdominal cavity.

Watch it, or I’ll zap you with a PJ Cardinal montage again! :dubious:

How do you like them?
I am able to grow vallisneria with a daylight LED strip not intended for aquarium use.
I was pleasantly surprised.

I do wish the hamsters would make up their minds. :dubious:

Nice surprise in the mail today - we got our energy rebate from MD for the installation of our pellet stove. I honestly thought it had been rejected or lost or something - in fact, I’d pretty much forgotten about it. So it’s a nice bonus to go into savings. Yay!

**FCD **leaves early tomorrow - he’ll be teaching 7th graders on Monday (based on his NASA exploits) then on Tues, he’ll take his folks to Raleigh for FIL’s Weds appt. If all goes well, he’ll be home next Sat. So I’ll just be unsupervised for a week.

Red Robin for supper tonight. T-storms barreled thru here this afternoon, but now it’s just overcast. And that’s all I’ve got. Glad the week is over. I’s tahred!!

swampy - I left a very important link on your facebook page

<evil smilie>

Stephan Pastis has pictures of Swampy working from home, but the !@#$ won’t let us share his stuff on Swampy’s Facebook page.

Chikin pot pie was teh nummiest if’n I do say so myself. OYKW has shown his “appreciation” for it as well.

flytrap I sent Stephan Pastis a friend request just so you could show me whatever the heck you’re talkin’ about. Apparently that has to be to see some of his stuff.

Rosie I’ll go take a look.

Mama Plant fed me horrible frozen chicken pot pies with raw dough when I was a child.
I have an eternal, relentless dislike for them.

Irk irked. Football, in boring vee eye pee area- mostly corporate schmoozers, plus the odd person who could buy my house with change they found down the back of the couch.

I’m not working tomorrow, and everyone else is going to be working at the badly paid second stadium we deal with, which I’m glad to be missing. I’m going to a juggling convention instead, which should be fun.

I’m actually pretty impressed at my unintended organisational skills; I was expecting I’d have to skip this week’s payday, and pick it up next week, which would be annoying as since I lost my wallet, I have no bank card, so this week of all weeks, having no ready cash is not a great plan. As it turns out though, the place I’m meeting one of the people I’m picking up is literally a few meters away from, and 5 minutes after the time I can pick up wages. I thought wae pick up would be way later (it changes every week, stoopid dodgy job), and just picked the spot because it’s close to her house and we both knew where it was.

Incidently, while we’re on fisheses, I’m going to try redo my 2’ tropical tank in the next few weeks, it’s been sadly neglected. I just have a few tetras and masses of Anubias in there at the moment, now the experimental shimp have managed suicide by filter (I suspected they would, the shop assured me they would not), and I want to make it more interestin’. Any ideas? It’s around pH 7, fairly soft water.

We had supper at Red Robin, then ran over to Best Buy because **FCD **wanted a memory stick. I was looking at the cameras and found one I wanted. I also saw that if I ordered it on line, I had a choice of colors. Turns out the red one, which is the one I wanted, was $7 cheaper on line, plus I get free shipping! I also ordered a 16G memory card. They’ll be here on Tuesday. Huzzah!!

My sweetie is packing for tomorrow. Shortly, I will give him a haircut. Life is exciting at FairyChatEstates!

I haven’t gotten them yet, they are shipping from Hong Kong, will probably take 2 weeks to get here, but I have enough light on the tanks until then.

discus also would thrive in soft water!” from Soft water fish | Freshwater Aquarium Discussion Forum
It’s called fishlore, you should check it out.

Time to give my sweetie a haircut, then assume the knit position.

MWAH!!

Stick a sponge over the filter inlet. Buy somewhere else, this is the best picture I can find, but it is for lots of 100, the way a Certain Swamp Dweller buys toilet tissue.

Crap, my link doesn’t work.

There are cylindrical sponges with a tunnel in them that fit over the filter intake.
My baby freshwater shrimp sit on it and eat the stuff that gets caught.

Sometimes life is just so awesome.

I worked. I was stuck at work for an extra 30min., since the “fixed” alarm wasn’t. More work tomorrow.

FCM, I could use a haircut.

Midget, ain’t it, though.
