Up All Night: An early(or late) MMP

“Let who is without sin…go and get some.”- Fred G. Sanford.

I suck at sloth. The rest I’m good at.

I’ve got news!!!

I’m buying a new (to me) car! A 2009 Honda CR-V!

**
YAY!!!**

After seeing Carol Burnett parody it for years, I finally watched Sunset Boulevard. I guess I can see why it was so iconic for its time, but I thought it was kind of dull and marginally inane. It’d be interesting to see how it’d be made today.

Worst case scenario- I can come and give you a lift

Irk today was okay, but dragged on a bit. T’was rugby, which at least means no trouble, and most people are friendly and chatty (you never have the players’ mums coming and saying “That’s my boy, that is!” at football  ), but they did not want to go home… It does mean more money, but it was boring enough that I started watching the Spanish football on TV.

Have read, but I’m tired, so help yourself to assorted yay!s, boos and :eek:s

Rosie, Mrs. Plant (v.3.0) says, “Good choice!”

Went to an affair last night, home very late. Got up & alterated between swiging water, to rehydrate & Coke & needed so go juice , cause I was racing on little sleep
I came home w/ hardware. 4 of us exactly reversed our finish order from a few momths ago.

That’s one way for you to finally go to Stonehenge!!

I had the last of the pulled poke for an early supper, just because. **FCD **just called me - he’s headed back from Orlando to Ocala. NCIS is on TV - I may go back to knitting. I didn’t accomplish anything today. I’m such a slug.

Congrats on the ride Rosie

Yay for the new wheels Rosie!

DeathMistress the thought of there bein’ more than one of me scares even me!

Alright, MOOOOOOM and Nuts are gonna roadtrip to Stonehenge!

Laundry is all done. What needed to go on hangers got ummm… hung, and what needed foldin’ got folded. All nice and neat like. I’ve also started another batch of chikin’ noodle soup cause there’s no more in da freezer. It should be done shortly. We can have some for dindin even. Or leftover shrimpies. Or both. It can get kinda wild like that around heah.

I’ve been productive today! I got some Walmart shopping done, followed by the requisite Walmart rage when one of their wage slaves has to check my reciept before I can leave the damn place. I think that’s a sign that my local Walmart is less than classy. I went for a short Parkway drive on the Commuter Stretch, followed by lunch, followed by a walk. Now there is chili simmerin’ on the stove. Meanwhile I have to decide what I want to make next. Stupid having too many project-itis. I’ve got a bad case of it.

Congrats Rosie!
So I heard from the mortgage company, on a Sunday?! no less and yes they do HomePath mortgages.
HomePath is when you borrow extra money to pay for needed repairs in the house.

So now I have to decide which house I want.

I can see myself living in either of them.
Ok what bothers me with the one, it is 3 doors down from a body shop. It’s a very quiet street though but there are other business behind it as well. The other issue I had and maybe it’s nothing is that there is no parking on the side of the street is on, however there is lots of parking in the back of the house. Easily could fit 10 cars back there. I had to park across the street and because it’s a short narrow street I’m sure any new vehicle parking there attracts attention. When we were leaving a teen boy had come out of the house I was parked in front of and was walking towards my truck in a way that said he was going to check it out. When he saw us come out he turned around and walked the other way down the street.
Maybe because it is a short street with only a few houses on it, sometimes people who live on those streets are suspicious of unknown vehicles, on the other hand he may be a punk who was looking to see what he could find.

The downside of the HomePath house is that while the street it is on is a quiet neighborhood street, it’s on the corner and the street beside it is fairly busy. That is where the gate is to the driveway and garage. There was plenty of street parking so maybe it won’t be an issue at all.

sari as long as you find a place you like and get out of that toxic place you live, it’ll be good. Which house was it that was pretty much move in ready?

Chikin noodle soup and cornbread for dindin. YUM!

I think it’s time to turn off this machine and knit the night away.

MWAH!

The move in ready one is on the street with the body shop. It also is the one with the full bath downstairs with the half bath upstairs with the bedrooms. No garage.

I really like the HomePath one better, nicer neighborhood, nicer layout and everything is on one floor except for the third bedroom.
I don’t know how long it would take to do the repairs, two broken windows, missing light fixtures, and the kitchen needs a total rehab and all the appliances. Lots of paint and the floors refinished, although I could live with the floors the way they are and just put down area rugs.

sari I could see you likin’ the Homepath one better. That bathroom setup in the other place is too weird. The first house I bought needed a fair amount of work but I liked it better than the others I looked at in my price range, so I can relate.

Ok, Ima go climb in the bed and watch some teevee until sleepy time. OYKW is feelin’ a little better. The combo of Benadryl[sup]TM[/sup] and the rain maybe washin’ away stuff in the air seems to be doin’ the trick. So I shall go join him.

Next person to post starts us off tomorrow!

Nitey Nite Y’all!

Worked, came home. Roomie cooked dinner.

Sari, I’d go for the HomePath one, but I always go for the diamonds in the rough(Gordie).

Congrats, rosie!

I killed the MMP again. :frowning:

whar es da nu 1?

HERE IT IS!!!
