Guess I should shower and put on some clothes. I really can’t spend the day in my robe - it’d make me crazy!!! Off to clean up I go!
I am told that Sloth is one of the Seven Deadly Sins.
Let me teach you, Padwan.
Happy Sunday!
It’s a grey 47 outside with a high of 56 today.
I had a lot of weird dreams last night, outside of that I slept pretty well and I needed it.
I finally caught up with y’all and
Yay Nuts for wallet and juggling
Sorry Nettie my replaced transmission didn’t even last a year, but that could have had something to do with me slamming the truck into park when the brakes failed
(which btw only slows you down, the emergency brake brought me to a sliding sideways stop)
Yay Midget
Love line dried sheets FCM and peirogis - one day I will make them from scratch (yeah right who am I kidding) I think it would be a shame to go all the way to England and miss out on Stonehenge
You can keep the sushi and the saki Swampy yuk to both and ouzo too.

Time to get busy around here. I have emails to write, houses to debate. I hope the mortgage company I’m working with will do a HomePath mortgage. I like that house a lot better and even if it costs the $20,000 difference to fix it it is worth it to me. It’s a nicer neighborhood, it’s brick, it has a garage, a lot of the original woodwork and the attic is finished.
Or maybe I need to think about it some more?
The cleaning of the closets has commenced. I have so many clothes that don’t fit. I’ve boxed up a full box of jeans and have sorted the keep pile. I found a new pair of shoes that do fit and I like them so bonus already.
Hubby is back on the east coast and will make his way down Florida later today
My animals really miss their Daddy :p.
I have one more week with an employee that is moving due to military PCS so when she is gone I get to do her job and my own plus I must start interviews to replace her. Hiring is one of my least favorite parts of my job.
We are in the height of Tourist Season so I don’t anticipate having any time to do anything but irk from now on. Forever. As long as I live. :smack:
Why couldn’t my parents have been rich?
I haven’t made pierogi from scratch in eons - my sweetie doesn’t really like our family recipe, but I love it. My grandmother mixed spearmint leaves in the potato and cheese mixture. OMG - heavenly!!! But I cheated and used Mrs. T’s frozen - not great, but not terrible either.
As for Stonehenge, if we can’t arrange to go from the ship, we will have half a day when we arrive in England - maybe we could go that afternoon? I know there are bus trips that leave from the airport hotels. We shall see. Altho the biggie I want to see is in Scotland - the Falkirk Wheel, and we’ve reserved that trip already, so yay!!!
I’m showered, dressed semi-presentably (my jeans are kinda old and worn, but really comfy) and still not sure what the day will hold. It’s hard to get motivated when you’re dragging. Stoopit dog. Which reminds me - I should probably call her in from the yard.
Morning. I’m up, caffeinated, off to work.
So Midget, I guess it was just an OK party, then.
Butters, I keep waiting for Gordie to bark out some winning Powerball numbers, so I can live a life of sloth and epic debauchery.
I must have lucked out somewhere. The Princess seems to have finally reset herself for Pacific time, and for about a week has been waiting until the alarm goes off to start plaguing me for breakfast.
Higgs has a screwy internal clock - sometimes she’ll sleep right thru, sometimes she’s up at 3 or 4. Unfortunately, my sweetie is out of town this week, so I have to get up when she gets up. Even letting her out right before we go to bed doesn’t always do it. Stoopit dog.
I could give you Gordie, he’s not a morning person.
mmoommmm I feel for you re Higgs. My little Lucky Louie will stay in the bed as long as I will, thank goodness. Now the cat on the other hand likes to lay out all night which works for me too.
When hubby is here the cat will want in and out all night and he gets up to cater to her. We finally had to remove the cat door because she kept bringing in stuff. The live rat that got away and set up housekeeping in the linen closet was the end of the cat door. Dumb ass cat.
I’m a fan of the seven deadly sins. I keep a busy schedule trying to fit them in.
**Butters **- the cat usually sleeps plastered next to me, which isn’t a problem most of the time. And when we visited the inlaws, Higgs slept with us and that wasn’t a problem. But for some reason, at home, we can’t let her sleep in our room. She’d rather rassle the cat all night long. So she gets crated, and she wakes up at stupid hours. Worse than kids!
Home from Luterun style deheathenization. 'Twas a good but lightly attended service. Guess the rain and general dreariness that is outside kept folks away. 'Tis drizzly and dreary out.
OYKW is still snoozin’ away. Shortly I shall prepare an early N.O.L. I figure that’ll get him up. He usually goes to his place on Sunday afternoons to do laundry and such. I think I shall suggest he stay here if he’s still feelin’ not so good and offer to go get his laundry and do it at da cave. I’m all nice like that.
I figure on most days I’ve gotten the seven deadly sins in before noon.
And yet you live - how deadly can they be??
Unless, you’re … undead!!!
Wait, all this time and he’s a swzompy?
RT is gone again. I’m majorly bummed. I’m already wishing the next two weeks away.
BRRRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAIIIIIIIINNNNNNNNSSSSS!!! BRRRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNNNSSSSSSSS!!!
I made N.O.L. OYKW came to life and et but he looks awful, poor thing. His sinuses are all swollen. I convinced him to stay at da cave and went over to his place to get his laundry and bring it here. He’s zonked again and I’m doin’ the laundry. I’m the kind of boyfriend you’d want to have. That is if you’re in the market for a boyfriend, I guess.
Good man.
They are deadly in the sense they will cause you to go to Hades, FairyChat.
If it was clown fish…it’d taste funny.
Well, swampy, I am in the market, but you are taken!
Too bad you don’t have a twin who is almost just like you!
