I have guppy fry! This is my first time taking care of baby fish. I ran out and got a 5 gallon tank kit to house them in.

Apes I am confused. What are you sellin’? Guppies? I see those in bait shops all the time. TP? Will that be like a mail order TP bidness? Will next day delivery be guaranteed? So many things to ponder here!

Oil truck finally delivered early afternoon yesterday. Of course, we are now having daytime highs 55F+, which is warm enough for the heat pump to kick in. :rolleyes:
Those are feeder guppies you see in the bait store. I have “fancy” guppies which you can get at most pet shops starting at $2.00 a piece. If you get a neat color pattern or tail shape they cost even more. Guppies come in endless color combos and tail shapes and people are willing to pay for unique looking fish.

Apes, fish are fine, but you can’t play with, pet, or cuddle them.
I have to agree about fish.
I’m going to have to miss work today, due to near-total lack of sleep last night and a need for someone to be home to deal with a visit from maintenance (the AC has not only ceased to cool, but has taken to heating). DH can take the afternoon watch on the maintenance front, but can’t be home this morning due to a major test he has to take.

Have you checked if the local shops will buy guppies off you Apes? I don’t want to me negative, but it is probably the fish they get offered most often, and a lot of places round here won’t pay for them unless you have loads in a really in-demand colour.
Today I have been mostly trying to tidy up my room. I need to clear space for all the vegetable plants that will be taking over in the next few weeks… The first tiny tomato plant is up already
I have some wild gambusia affinis I’ve been trying to raise for feeders, but they will not cooperate.
