Up all night – anyone else out there?

What the hell kind of Saturday night is it without mountain biking and some random crap with what appears to be a trampoline or something? I mean really, people…

Oh, I’ll be up all night too!
I have a paper to write for grad school.
Then I have a final exam to write for the same class.
Then I have to finish packing up all my stuff as I have to be out of my apartment by Thursday morning.
Then I have to fill out a job app that is about 45 pages.
Then I have to fill out another job app that is about 40 pages (both due by Thursday).
Then I have to change my address with about 12 different businesses.
Then I have to find a power company for my new apartment so I can move in.
Then I have to see if AT&T will switch my DSL service, or if I am better off signing up from scratch.
Then I have to pack all my worldly belongings into my car to make sure they will fit for the upcoming move.
And then my corporation in the game EVE decided to break up, so now I have to move all of my virtual property halfway across the damn galaxy, which I do NOT have the time for this week.
And to top that all off, I’m working 10 hour days until Thursday, when everything absolutely has to be done.

I’m going to need more coffee.
Also, if anyone knows anything about how many of the “causes” of delinquency and criminalistic behavior are actually “outcomes” associated with misconduct due to biological effects and deficiency within the developing brain… yeah, if you are an expert on that, it would really help me out about now regarding those papers I’m writing.

SuntanTigerTamer - Would it help to know that my cousins up in Superior are undoubtedly watching the Olympics right now?

(FWIW, I love Duluth. In the winter. I’m weird)

It might! I used to live on that side of the bridge.

And I also love this city. Year round.

You know, it might cost me my job, but I could run a crawl telling your cousins that is been awhile since they sent you a gift…

Nah, I don’t like them much
They’re from “that” side of the family.

Then I’ll run one telling them to clean up thier act, for god’s sake, and stop being so damn Superior-y.

Jesus has a uterus?

That would be worth looking into.

When he said it, I actually laughed, remembering this that I had seen earlier:

Linky

They can be used for anal exams too.

Wow Cap’nC, that’s quite a lot you have there. What’s the paper for/exam in?

STT – that’s quite a lot of power you wield. I’m not sure I could resist tampering with the crawl.

Ill put it this way: on my last day, all area schools will be closed due to weather

Crime and the Life Course: A look at the biological reasons for criminal behavior. Basically, while most courses cover the opinion that crime is caused by nurture, this course covers the nature half.

And once it is done I’ll be halfway through my Master of Criminal Justice: Policy and Administration degree. yay…

And SuntanTigerTamer, you HAVE to let us know when your last day is.

“We know you meant to bring peace on Earth, but, for now, let us look into Uranus.”

What? Is something going on in Uranus? With the Olympics on, Obama finally revealing his running mate, the situation in Georgia, and everything else, I never even considered Uranus!

That sounds like an extremely interesting class. What are the texts for it?

And yes, if/when I leave this job, Ill give you guys a few days heads up. We can brainstorm up the best way to go out.

Regarding this, on the computer that I am monitoring, it has a playlist with every commercial, show, and station id on it that are set to run for the next week/ week and a half. It has a “delete to top” function, in which I can clear things that have already run.

The “delete to bottom” function, in which i can delete the entire playlist for the week, is much more intriguing…

I’m here for a bit! Spent the day and most of the evening with some friends. Home now, but too awake to sleep

Awesome. All the other “all nighters” seem to have called it a night :frowning:

Hm, I can’t seem to find my copy of the book for the course, I think I left it at work. But here’s a link to the Professor’s blog: http://thecrimeprofessor.blogspot.com/ If you are interested in the topic, I suggest listening to his podcasts posted on there. It’s more of a conversation of the topic with music playing than it is a summary of the chapter. My favorite quote so far “These individuals have lives like you’d expect from those who have utterly just failed at everything”.

John Wright. Nice guy, good sense of humor, and actually teaches his online class instead of just writing up a syllabus with assigned readings and expecting us to write papers.

I’ve just discovered I DVR’d the series finale of Rome today. I missed it when it was originally broadcast (and any subsequent times), so this is my first chance to see it. I guess I’ll be up for another hour.

Here I am, back from the store. One of the perks of a schedule like mine is being able to swing by the store after work and stock up without having to wait in line.
