Folks, I was one of the reasons she changed her name, and one of the reasons she left the board. She was advised that merely changing her name was not the best way to go about undoing the damage she’d done to herself and her reputation, but either the advise reached her a little late, or she chose not to follow it. As far as I know, she hasn’t posted since she changed it and, given some things that have happened between us on a personal level since then, I would really prefer she not do so. Among other things, it’s tough enough for me to act like a Christian as far as she’s concerned. The proximate cause of her leaving, as I understand things, was me flaming her over her repeatedly posting links to sites which spread lies about the Church of Latter-Day Saints. It wasn’t a pagan or an atheist who delivered the final blow; it was a fellow Christian, and I cannot bring myself to regret doing so. Do not accuse my brother and sister Dopers of doing something I did.
Svt4Him, I have a couple of close friends who are a Wiccan priest and priestess and I’ve learned a lot about Wicca from them. While Wiccan traditions probably vary almost as widely as Christian ones, I’m not aware of any in which one could officially be a “32nd level” Wiccan. I’ve no doubt if someone wants to proclaim himself one, other Wiccans would probably smile and nod politely at first, much as some folks would smile and nod if I proclaimed myself a “41st level Episcopalian”, but sooner or later someone would set the record straight.

You’re personalizing it too much, Siege. She has posted since her name change. I doubt you, all by yourself, caused her to stop posting. She’s not the first and won’t be the last who leaves because she realizes her shallow understanding of scriptures cannot persuade those with more educated and deeper philosophies who post here.
I would like to nominate vanilla’s gigantic, disembodied, M&M-smudged hand idea as one of the scariest Hallowe’en costumes I’ve heard of.

Schnoebelen is a con artist who seems to make a living by flitting from one less-than-mainstream group to another, following which he “exposes” his previous group to his new group as “very bad people.”
(I am also sorry to say that if you have found his lies (and their “documentation”) persuasive, you are probably seriously damaging your credibility around here as a serious witness to any events. He is such a poor example of fraud, and his presentations are so obviously inventions, that any person with a better than ninth grade education should have the requisite skills to see that he is a liar.)
