I’m pretty sure I have a copy of the draft and the original email sent to the league’s owners. However as Weirddave pointed out, if we can’t get copies of the final rosters, it’s not practical to do keepers. Lookin’ forward to this year’s league.

However, I should add that there’s a good chance I won’t do as well this year, since I am currently employed, as opposed to last fall, which was spent at home watching four hours a day of Law and Order and scouring fantasy football waiver wires.

nope, not based on that Simpson’s episode. Don’t get me wrong, I’m a nice guy, and you’ll like me just fine, but I’m a mouthbreather.
Anywho, If we have anyone bailing from this league, I’ve got a very willing replacement owner. He probably would not pay to join SDMB but I am on instant messanger with him every day and I’ll vouch for his skill and dedication. He could communicate via the yahoo league message board, and I can quickly get him any info needed about the league. If that’s cool with you all (and more specifically, Munch), keep him in mind if we need new owners.
Hey, my vote counts no more than anyone else’s (except Hamlet’s, of course). If someone drops, he’s got first dibs as far as I’m concerned. Heck, if he’s this eager, he can join outright (sans the keepers).
Great! Just great! The last thing we need is another owner who is skillful and dedicated. Bah! What we really need is more owners who think that Kevin Faulk is a first round choice and plays for the Rams and that a kicker should be taken in the first four rounds. How about we let some of those kinds of owners in?

Torry Holt, Jeremy Shockey, Kevan Barlow and Corey Dillon (thank you Patriots!) were the ones I was considering.

I just wanted to check back in with this.
I haven’t been on the boards much lately…well, none since subscribing anyways…but I do want to make sure that everyone is till talking about this league and that I know of any decisions being made.
On reading this thread, I know that the keeper situation is in flux. My personal opinion is that I’d like to make it a keeper league if its at all possible. I know I didn’t make any earth shattering moves last year and I know I could determine my keepers based off the draft. Ricky, Vick, probably Chambers.
I’m into the baseball league with a few of you so communication won’t be a serious problem for me, but its been a couple weeks since a post. Was a final conclusion reached?

I predict we won’t see any decision reached until draft day draws closer. Also, as was previously mentioned, we simply cannot do keepers from last year unless someone has saved copies of the rosters. I searched my hard drive just now and discovered that I unfortunately do not have said copies.
I wonder if there is a way to recover the rosters- would Yahoo have a cache, or did Google cache the page at some time? Without the rosters this could get ugly, and it’s bad enough with Hamlet over here… oops, sorry, didn’t see you standing there.
I’m trying to think of any other way to get them back. Why? I would probably benefit most from a restart, but I’d like the challenge.

I won my division and made the playoffs in my NFL.com league last year, so I’m actually kinda good (although I should note that the other three teams in the division had .500 records).
Hell, I did it from the second-last draft spot, with freakin’ Matt Hasselbeck, Edge, and the Titans D/ST as my only real starters. Pretty much every other player I started was waiver fodder (except Stephen Davis, who I had the foresight to pick up in the third round and the stupidity to trade for Tiki Barber in Week 3…)
Yeah, actually, I’d vote we first attempt to replace the pool of owners with current SDMB members. It’s supposed to be an SDMB football league, after all.
I’m way too into the NFL for my own good, have never played fantasy football, always lose when I bet a team, (it’s uncanny, really), and got killed in the various SD pools last season.
Any way I could get in on this?
People honestly cannot remember the three best players they had on their team? :-\ I’m going to be severly disappointed if the decision is that we’re starting new again this year.
MB, I was in three different private leagues and three or four different public leagues last year - I can hardly remember anyone who was on my SDMB team except L. Tomlinson and Aaron Brooks.
