Arizona for a wedding, my girlfriends brother, no, the relationship with my girlfriend is still pretty new, but we thought it might be fun to both go together, Tok, Alaska to a Wildlife Refuge, my long lost love, and best friend is working there, she just graduated from Yale school of Forestry with her masters after completing a Bachelors at Rutgers in Enviornmental Science, and in 3 months, she will begin school at George Washington for Enviornmental Law. I am going to visit her and hopefully have time to volunteer at the refuge. Israel becuase another good friend of mine invited me to go with her to her sisters wedding, and becuase it’s been a while since i was last there. Haiffa, 'cause that’s where mom is from, Tel Aviv, 'cause i hear that’s where the partying gets done, Elat, 'cause i like heat, Shenkin, cause i like shopping, Ramat Gan, family, and any other place i have time for. Petra in Jordan to rock climb if i can. ditto if i have time in AZ, i’d like to climb out there, and maybe next summer a good ice climbing trip with my best friend in Alaska. Then i’m planning a trip to NZ to climb Mt. Cook. but thats in a few years i imagine.

Well, Shayna, funny you should mention that. Originally, I decided my two characters would be Biggirl’s (the artist currently known as PinkSlinky) suggestion of the hooker with the heart of gold and genitals of steel, and the power hungry scientist. Unfortunately, it was discovered I do NOT play a hooker well. Especially when I am playing opposite a 17 year old. So the hooker is on the backburner, in a manner of speaking. The scientist was turned into a shrink, who has suicidal tendancies, and uses hypnotism to control the rest of the characters into participating in her world domination plan. She also has named her guppies as generals in her army, and is wont to start a scene discussing military plans with her fish.
But any ideas for an alternate to the hooker would be appreciated. The website for the group should be up later this week.
Well, not that anyone asked, but the kind folks here have helped me out with a few questions, so here’s what I ended up doing regarding the questions I had asked:
I had asked if there’s any way to directly connect a VCR to a computer monitor without getting a TV card. After weighing the various options, we decided to just get a cheap TV (a nearby electronics store was having a grand opening sale) and not connect the “antenna out” to anything.
I had also asked if there’s any way to get a baby to sleep in her crib on a reasonably regular schedule without making her cry. The answer that pretty much everyone gave was “no,” so we gritted our teeth and did it. It was a week from hell, but it sure did work, and my wife has sworn that from now on, we’ll do this to all our kids at six months old.
Swiddles, you crack me up! I don’t think I’d play a hooker well against a 17 year old either. Only one word comes to mind about that… Eeeeeeewwww! I’ll think on a potential replacement character and let you know if I come up with anything. When the website’s up, post a link. I’d love to see it!
cmkeller, I’m glad you updated us in spite of the fact that we neglected to ask. I wish I could remember everything - honest, I do. That’s great news that you got the baby to sleep on a schedule though. Congratulations! Keep us posted on any new developments.

Damn UPS!!! How dare they close at 5:30!!! Well, I missed out yesterday on the old Fantom, and today I actually forgot my wallet! I never forget my wallet! I’ll have to call them and see if I can pick it up with just the little slip of paper they left on the door.
Also, I start Zyban on Friday.
Oh yeah, I also leave Friday to go get psycat from PA! Yeehaw!!!
Oh yeah, I finally found someone to cover one day a week for me here at work (I work four 10 hour shifts) so I’ll have three day weekends all summer long. Woo hoo!!!
OK, life is just damn good right now… Except for not having my vacuum, but I’ll live.
Haven’t seen this one for a while and had an update to give and thought it would give others a chance to update also.
Joshua is out of that nasty body cast and healing well. Up and around days after like he was never hit by a car.
The woman who hit him is so far getting off scot free because no lawyer will touch the case because there is no money to be made and I can’t afford to hire one just to fight for nothing but my personal satisfaction.
For all I know this woman doesn’t even realize what she did is wrong. I know there will never be any money or anything out of this, and that isn’t really what I want. I want her to know that she screwed up.
I want her to know what we went through emotionally. Our whole family suffered. I know it’s bad karma and I am not putting any energy into wishing her harm or anything, I just wish she knew.
