Plot: the daily life of video game characters when they aren’t “working”
Pretty much a standard sitcom except with computer generated characters. Features Patrick “The Tick” Warburton as “Rip” Smashenburn - a loser race car driver. His wife, Raquel, is a Lara Croft-type adventurer. The neighbors are martial arts monks.
It ain’t gonna make it past its six-episode order, but it has it’s moments.
I have to agree. I like video games and have seen the first few episodes of this. However, there’s really nothing special. It has some cute parts, like the daughter protesting her mother’s tomb raids. Unless it gets a bit better, I don’t see it going past the 6 episode mark.
Oh, come on. It’s UPN! They probaby won’t even show all the episodes that were made, and replace it with an “encore presentation” of America’s Next Top Model or something.

They’ve shown 3 eps and have 2 scheduled for this Friday. They might actually show them all before they cancel it.
The fact that they moved it from Wednesday to Friday after 2 eps is not a good sign.
They’ve already moved it from Wednesday to Friday, usually the kiss of death.
I kinda like it, in a goofy sort of way. But they have to get much wilder on the plots and not make it a sitcom family with sitcom problems (mom is too busy to sew costumes for the kid’s play? nooooooooooooh!).
And the cutely uncute pet has to die. Preferably horribly.
