Yay! for Lucy feeling better, Rebo. Sounds like you’ve got a really good doc there. (And the shorthand for the shot includes a q; if you Google sub q, you get every variation possible on the spelling: sub q, subq, SubQ, subQ, sub-q, sub-Q and probably more that I’m forgetting.)
Welcome if2x! I’m always scared to try old favorites. There have been few things that I’ve tried that were still as good (Bill Knapp’s au gratin potatoes, now sadly unavailable as Bill Knapp’s went under; and, coincidentally, Fudgsicles) but a lot of times I’ve looked at the food and wondered what I ever saw in it.
I’m sure everyone can wait till 5 a.m. EDT, FCM. After all, they’re waiting for you. And, of course, there’s this perfectly good MMP to continue posting in.
How many days left, doggio?
I slept in!!! Only till 7:45 or so, but still, I got 8 hours of uninterrupted sleep. Wooooot!
I was up, rosie, just not online. Several of us would rather have been home, cuz it would really have been more fun.
Gotta say the decorations at the reception were really pretty. The cake was spectacular (very simple, but very pretty), I got to see part of the video of the actual wedding, there were a few pictures from the wedding. (Of course, I’ll get to see the video an pictures on other occasions if I want to.)
The problem was that the bride’s mom and I knew really few people and, even though a few people went out of their way to chat a bit with us, most of them felt they couldn’t have an extensive conversation with us. The bride’s mom isn’t super-fluent in English, so they assume they can’t have a real convo with her. (Personally, I think she’s just not a very confident English speaker.) And me, I was the invisible bodyguard. Unfortunately, we were seated among the groom’s Mom’s family (she was the one who organized the party), so the groom’s Dad, who was just as uncomfortable AND is magically able to converse with the bride’s mother, couldn’t hang out with us much. He came and sat down with us once the crowd had cleared, but by then we were ready to leave. There were a few fun moments (the groom and his friends serenaded the bride at one point; really funny since they only knew the refrain plus 5 words of the song, but sang enthusiastically anyway), but it would have been nice to condense the nice parts into about 1/2 an hour.
In short: Arggghhhhhhh.
Well, gotta get ready for church and the rest of the day. I think it’s supposed to be pretty out again, so hopefully I’ll get lots done.
Laterz.

(Although Papa Tigs did have something crawl up under his t-shirt bite him right on the tummy! )
Does yours, Rosie? Presumably someday I’ll get used to it. Or it’ll finally send me round the bend and I won’t care any more.
