Urbanredneck is a homophobic bigot

I think I’m swayed by this argument.

Urbanredneck’s homophobic assertions would be appropriate (per the spirit of the board, IMO) in a discussion about whether homosexuality is acceptable, or whether gay marriage should be acceptable, or some similar issue debate, but I don’t think it adds anything to the discussion in question, which was about Mother’s Day. I don’t think it’s appropriate at all to suggest that a parenting challenge is due to the sexual orientation (or race, or religion, etc.) of the parent (in a thread started by the parent) unless that parent makes it part of their question.

Can we please get back to trashing UrbanRedneck??

He has had this coming for months for lots of reasons.

So, um, how do these threads work? Does someone invite urbanredneck to come and argue with folks?

We don’t want his kind in our thread.

I think of it more in terms of playing the long con

I hope not in this case. Unless he’s hot, of course.

:stuck_out_tongue:

Got a new one for the list:

Can’t be bothered to read them all, but where’s the homophobic?

There is no big advantage in being gay work-wise, and there are more heteros than homos. Seems pretty straightforward to me.

I’ve always felt that if you actually made a conscious choice to be heterosexual, you’re probably not.

Perhaps the term should be “heterosexual by the skin of your teeth.”

Is that a high five, or two people breaking a wishbone?

I see a butt, each of whose cheek is a face with a slightly perturbed expression.

The grand irony here, is that tapu’s son may very well be acting out on Mother’s Day because he has two moms and no male influence in his life.

Sure, it’s not the type of thing we want to acknowledge could exist, but hiding in the sandbox with our fingers in our ears is a piss-poor way to deal with our problems.

(With regard to the plethora of homophobic statements he has made, I generally support this pitting)

I actually think he lives around 4 miles away from me. I can pop over there real quick, if you want…

This is exactly what I saw.

He’s not too smart when it comes to racism either.

You assume my son has no male influence in his life. And that that’s why he’d ignore Mother’s Day. Not only is that illogical, but your groundless assertions are among the stupidest shit I’ve had to hear about this. When we’re fighting ignorance, we’re fighting you.

Besides, it seems unlikely that “male influence” is needed to celebrate mother’s day. That always struck me as a holiday by and for women.

The fact that you wear that a sign of pride is another reason I don’t plan to apologize to you any time soon. You’re trolling, and trying to make the thread about you. God forbid we talk about another bigot.

NO! No teeth, please!

Urbanredneck is not sure if he believes in interracial marriage or not, so he just might do this.
