At the beginning of yesterday’s press conference Trump was talking in an almost normal tone. He was calm and he seemed well informed on the events of election day; he seemed to know the players, who won and lost and the significance of the events. He Congratulated the Democratic party, in general, and Rep Pelosi on a job well done, and he actually seemed sincere. Then he laid out part of an agenda that he felt both sides could get behind, (ie infrastructure, etc) almost like a politician. Then something happened (almost as if he remembered that he was on camera) and the bombast and bluster came roaring back, leading into that trainwreck of a Q&A. I think he knew he was gonna jump down Acosta’s throat and had to rile himself up before he even opened the floor for questions.
So. . .I dont want to down play the dementia aspect of his personality, could very well be. But the Trump that we’ve all grown to know and loathe these days is clearly an act.
“For although psychopaths are a small minority, it seems significant that whenever organized and militant hate exist a psychopath is the leader, and if, for instance, one hundred disgruntled and frustrated individuals fall in line behind one psychopath then, in essence, we are concerned with the actions of one hundred and one psychopaths.” Sidney Potier-Pressure Point-1962
He’s unhinged, but he’s also challenging you. He’s remaking America’s political system in his image, and he’s daring everyone else to stop him. You voted on Tuesday, which is all well and good, but he’s still challenging everyone to stop him.
The rude bastards on the right think someone was less than subservient and not sufficiently obsequious to the Rude Guy they like? Fuck him and fuck them. HE’s rude. THEY’re rude. EVERYone should be rude to him, as disrespectful as is humanly possible. Why kiss up to that shit stain??? He doesn’t deserve any respect. God damn fucking snowflakes.
BTW, is there an update on the condition of that bruised and battered intern? Has she come out of the coma? Will she walk again? Is there a GoFundMe we could contribute to for her medical bills?
As a neurologist,I think it seems like he’s a lifelong narcissistic sociopath personality, with many signs of early dementia in his speech (?thought) patterns that I can detect. (random phrasing, repetitive phrasing, paucity of meaning, simplistic words and concepts…). A horrible combination to be present in this country’s chief exec. My political (not medical) conclusion is we can’t get rid of him from office soon enough.
I do like equating his fMRI scan to the boat ride scene from Willy Wonka. Funny idea but still scary.
Okay, asahi, you’ve been saying things like this for a while now. It’s pretty obvious you feel the political system has failed and voting doesn’t work. So what exactly are you calling for? Marching in the streets? Revolution? What steps do you thing we should be talking to express our unhappiness with the current administration? Or is this just you posturing?
Blank slate, you’re well named. You’re brain is truly a tabula rasa. Go ahead you sorry excuse for a sapient being, ask me something you might know that’s neurological and I won’t google it, when I answer. Since yr not one of my patients, I won’t mind answering you and then calling you a POS.
