I find it amusing that you make this comparison. Everytime I saw a campaign ad for Bachman during the '06 election season, I couldn’t help but think of Harris.

This has been a great blog to document Her Wickedness.
A district that is overwhelming conservative republican. Despite that Wetterling won 42% percent of the vote. Third party won 8%. Bachman won 50%. This was a relatively safe republican district when Mark Kennedy left to run for the Senate seat. Regardless, Bachman won and this is only the beginning of her political ambitions. Wait for more outrageous shit to ensue.
You know, I think it’s nice to see women elected. I even on occasion think that it 's nice to see republicans elected. But that chick is out there, like “God told me to… out there.”
Oh, and NurseCarmen is a man, too, if I remember correctly, milquetoast.

Oh, my… I was hoping the rest of the country would forget about BatShit Bachman… I’ve heard a whole lot scarier stories than that one about her… and she is from MY district. Ouch. We tried hard, but there are a whle lot of folks out this way from some very odd right wing religous organizations that really scare the pants off of me out here. (Nurse Carmen - Andover, here)
She will self-destruct, I predict - she really is a nutjob, and doesn’t hide it well.
She’s pretty damn hot though.
I heard Bachman talking on some right-wing christian radio show (I wasn’t listening voluntarily) and was not at all impressed with her. I got the impression that she was a lot more concerned with the upper-middle class people than with the lower class ones, and she was open about it.
My favorite song of theirs is Chartered Trips. And while you’re at it you might was well go for some Replacements songs. 
This calls for a derisory nickname (and there aren’t enough of these attached to members of Congress, if you ask me). Strangely enough, casual Googling shows zero results for “Bachman-Terror Overdrive”.
She’s the Representative of the District I live in, and it is classified as a Conservative district.
I did not vote for her.
Some who did, say they did because she has pretty eyes.
Others voted for her because they had consumed mass quanities of the Bush kool-aide.
The Dump Michele Bachmann blog is some humorous stuff.

And yes, she is batshit crazy.
Bachman is our Katherine Harris. She may be worse. She’s not just a fundie nutcase, but a Jack Chick style fundie nutcase. She belongs to a church which claims that the Pope is the anti-christ, she is viciously homophobic, claiming that GLBT people taget children, that they are “dysfunctional,” and that calling gay people “gay,” is “part of Satan” because “it’s anything but gay.” She says that God told her to run for Congress. She wants to teach Creationism in public schools. She wants to eliminate the minimum wage. She’s not just crazy but stupid too. She is really every single thing that’s wrong with America.
Could we call her “Stevie”?
Its a case for the rest of the country choosing one district each year who should have their voting rights removed. Whoever elects the most batshit crazy person, doesn’t get to vote next time. They loose their seat as punishement.
We have enough reps, we can lose one.
