"USA! USA! USA!" Shut UP!

So…you’re taking your ball and going home? Nuts. Can’t argue with that logic.

Well, on the off chance that you do read this, allow me to clarify:

I mean a “war” in the traditional sense. A war on the terrorists is most certainly going on, hence the mobilization of the army. But we haven’t started bombing anywhere, nor have we just randomly started attacking people. Instead, this is going to be a measured, thought-out, mostly covert strike. Like I said, we’re treating this like a crime, which is what you wanted. Go in, get the criminal, and bring him to justice.

As for the motivation of the chant, let’s look at it this way: you said the firefighters were resoponding to the subliminal message in Bush’s speech that we were gonna go bomb us some A-rabs. However, it has been shown that Bush meant no such thing, and wasn’t even planning on it. Therefore, is it right to suppose that the firefighters were just making up their own message? Occom’s razor gives us the simplist solution: that they were merely responding to a patriotic, inspirational message with a patriotic, inspirational cheer. You’re looking for hidden motives when I think it’s all pretty clear.

Anyway, I do hope that you see this post, and don’t end this debate by taking a page right out of Fenris’s “Loser’s Handbook”.
