So let’s say that you have your typical post-apocalyptic story: a ruined America, a hard-as-flint mercenary anti-hero, evil corporations and their doom troops, a underground of good guys, a MacGuffin that can save (or destroy) the world, zombies, mutants, cyborgs, psionics/magic, and a psychotically murderous killing machine villain for the hero to fight. OK, so it’s all been done before; how can you make it new?
Answer: Cast adaptations of comic strip characters in all the roles. This whole story arc is one big “name that cameo” adventure. In fact maybe we should start listing them all here.
