V: 1.05 "Welcome to the War" (open spoilers)

I loved the V anatomy stuff - the pregnancy, the eye, the eating your mate. I worry about the ability of the resistance to stay a secret - it seems like they are always on the verge of being caught, if not for the assassin guy not reporting in before going on his stabbing spree, or if not for the spike throwing bot having an IR camera instead of a regular one, etc.

FWIW, this was just a side effect of it filming in Vancouver and having to deal with a filming break because of the Olympics there.

Yeah… I would hope that although they might embrace this tool for finding the supposed culprit, the particular method of evidence wouldn’t be supported in court for a conviction - they’d have to find additional evidence.

I think Hobbs is a Visitor. The Visitors led the resistance right to him.

Assuming male Visitors have the same dental arrangement…Do we really believe that woman married to the Fifth Column guy doesn’t know he isn’t human???

It’s the forked tongue. Drives the women wild!

Is it just me or does it seem like Visitor males vastly outnumber females? There’s Anna, her daughter Lisa, the FBI plant, and the new 5th Column doctor. I don’t recall any other female Vs except maybe in the background. And all the ship captains are male. This fits in with their society being matriarchal and Anna being a queen in more ways then one; the drones do double duty as workers. Is there even any reason why the sex of the human suit needs to match up with the Visitor’s actual sex? Anna & Lisa could be the only actual females in the fleet; all the other “females” (including undercover spies) are really males “crossdressing” to fit in with humans.

So is Anna going to deploy an entire army out of her V?:dubious:

Maybe she’ll morph into something like the Alien queen.

It looked to me like her teeth were hidden behind the human disguise, in a way similar to the 5th Column guy was able to roll up his fake eye to reveal his real one underneath…

All I know is, they’d better figure out a way in the next episode to “fix” the priest, since he’s now on a screen in the room full of people they monitor. Seems to me like they’ll get caught instantly then next time they even have a conversation with him.

It looked like unlike Travis’ uniform, the r6 injection is just a GPS tracker and DNA profiler, and not visual or audio surveillance. Of course if he’s involved in some mission they can identify him as being one of the people in that area at the time…

I’m looking forward to seeing where the show goes from here. I loved The Shield, so seeing that as of this episode Scott Rosenbaum has taken the helm as show-runner has me a lot more interested in where the show will be headed now.
