Well, nertz.
Geez, Aguecheek, Steph liked the Gettysburg outlet mall so much you guys gotta relocate to SEATTLE to keep her away from it?
Sorry, dude.
I hope you’ll be able to make it, though.
Zap!

Sounds like beer … I mean fun. Once actual locations spring up, I think me and the missus might give it a go. One question though: What kind of mountain thing is this? Is that just where it happens to be, or will there be mountaineering?
Jus’ wondrin.
Depends on what you call ‘mountains’ really.
We live in a small valley between Short Hill Mountain and the Blue Ridge Mountains in semi-rural Appalachia.
How’s that?
Fine, fine. Just making sure there won’t be any unnecessary hiking, is all. Otherwise, since it isn’t until mid-June, well, we were thinking of taking a vacation around that time anyway, and that looks en-route. Yay!!!
There ain’t no mountain climbin’ to get to JC’s place. Just drive:)
Oh, and plan on leaving after midnight:D
Well, you do have to walk up the steps to get to the porch, but other than that, no climbing.
Medea’s Child It must be because I’m a Liberal Democrat, right? Or maybe you got me mixed up with someone in a kilt in Columbus.
I may have to get my pacemaker charged just before I leave.
What can I say? She emptied 'em out. Time to move on to greener pastures.
All my family’s in the area, across the border, and my little niece is growing up without any spoiling from her favourite uncle. It’s a moral imperative.
Many thanks for the good wishes, and I’ll let Steph know too.
Ok baring nothing unforseen (like landing a job) comming up I will be there since it’s my birth month. I saw you mention a DJ so I have to ask Karaoke by chance?
We are currently toying with the Karaoke concept. We haven’t committed yet, though.
What’s everyone think?
Dude…!
You do NOT want to hear me sing. Ever.
My wife, OTOH, has a lovely, strong voice, if you can coax her out of her shyness.
I think it’s time for me to start memorizing Weird Al lyrics.
Ooh my little hungry one,
hungry one,
open up a package of
my bologna
As King Arthur’s knights kept saying in MP&HG:
Run away!!!
or

I’m telling you…I know them ALL!!!
Fear me.
I may have to ask Bluesman to bring his sidearm. Just in case, y’know.
Samclem rethinking
:::::two hours in car with Medea’s Child::::::YES!
::::::An evening of karaoke with demented wannabe singers:::::::
YES, again!!
Are you kidding? Bluesman’s practicing “Mack the Knife” as we speak.
Karaoke, eh?
It’s been a while since I sang for anyone who cared or was drunk:D At least two years, in fact.
I promise not to mangle anything and I promise not to laugh too hard at anyone (unless everyone else is, too).
Now now, people. We’re just considering it. Lady Chance has what can only be described as ‘extreme’ doubts about it.
She keeps muttering something about why I make my living as a businessman and failed utterly in my attempted musical career all those years ago.
What do you think she’s trying to tell me? It’s a mystery!
Well, you know, there can be only one Freddie Mercury…
::already gone from thread, I was running so?::
Just tell her there will (hopefully, if I can arrange to get down there) be at least one person that has a pretty decent voice and won’t kill her ears for a song or two. I’m a bit shy, though, so, just like the bar at NYC Dope (though I left before it could happen) I may need to be coaxed into it. This one is a lot more likely than me dancing on a bar, though. 'Cause I really like to sing. A lot. I miss singing. sigh
Now I’ve gotta find someone to go do Karaoke with me up here.
