I finally had some! Woo hoo!
I agree with everyone - it’s good, but it needs just a smidge more vanilla flavoring. Other than that, it’s quite good, actually. I don’t think it’s going to replace Pepsi Twist on my list of sodas I drink regularly, but it’ll get drunk at least as often as regular Coke. I’ll just keep a bottle of vanilla syrup handy for an additional splash to get it right.

I finally tried one today. Bought it on the way to work about 9 hours ago. About 3/4 of the 20 oz. bottle is still here on my desk, til I finally decide to chuck it. Yuk, nasty stuff, IMO.
I was a vendor at a craft show in Mountain Grove, MO a few weeks ago, when I encountered Vanilla Coke at the local grocery store. I was very hot, thirsty and tired, and it looked so appealing sitting there in an ice-filled barrel.
I took a few sips, and found it to be utterly undrinkable. I brought it back to Mr. Tabby at our booth so he could try it, and he also thought it was vile.
I like real vanilla cokes every now and then. This crap does not taste anything like them. The aftertaste is nasty, nasty, nasty!
Got a free bottle when I ordered a pizza the other day but I didn’t notice it wasn’t regular Coke until I tried it. What horrible surprise!
