Is there a shortage? Can’t find it in my local market in 2L bottles. They’ve been out for two weeks.

I hope they discontinued it. At my local Kwik-E-Mart, they insist on stocking Vanilla Coke Zero instead of regular Coke Zero.
Coke Zero tastes just fine.
Vanilla Coke Zero is so vile that I almost spat the first mouthful I ever tried all over my monitor. Completely undrinkable, IMHO.
Man, don’t hold back! if you don’t like it, just say so! 
Personally, I’m holding our for Caffeine Free Vanilla Coke Classic with Lemon. Sure it’s undrinkable, but think of the shelf-space it would capture…
I’m just getting off of regular soft drinks and have adapted Coke Zero as my acceptable substitue, but I’m mucho wary of the vanilla flavored one. Cherry Zero is pretty decent, but that synthetic vanillin flavor tends to give me the willies.
I’ve don’t recall ever seeing Vanilla Coke Zero in 2L, just the 20oz and cans.
I totally loved it, myself, and bought all I could when it showed up, but that only lasted, what, a couple of months? Now it’s all gone, and I’ve checked all the grocery stores in my area.
Oh well, back to plain (but not vanilla) Coke Zero.
I wholeheartedly second this. Cherry Coke Zero is my drink of choice, but I avoid all vanilla products like the plague. I normally like vanilla flavors, but I had a rather disastrous experience with Burnett’s Vanilla vodka (disastrous in the sense that it was so overwhelmingly YUCK that there was no amount of plain coke that I could add to it to make it drinkable). Since then, all vanilla sodas are gross to me.
Update: It’s back! I went by the grocery for lunch to pick up a new case for work and it was back! Hoorah!
PS – Well, iftheresaway, I’m your polar opposite on this issue. I avoid cherry-flavored sodas at all costs. I don’t know why I like the artificial vanilla sodas, but I do.
I guess I’ll swing by on the way home and see if it’s been restocked.
