Just got the news that Verrain, husband of True Pisces successfully defended his thesis today, and has received his Doctorate after many years of hard work. Woot!

woo hoo! Even though I’m here in FL (I’m TP’s best friend) and I won’t be able to join in on the fun, I’m happy for Verrain!

Any word on where he will do his post-doc work? Last time I spoke to TP, she had said Minnesota (brr!).

Now it’s post-doc time. We still aren’t sure where it will be, but we’re aiming for Minnesota and the Mayo Clinic. We’ll just have to see if that can happen. And after that… well, that will depend on how sick he gets of wet bench science. :smiley:
