I see no reason it should differ by more than a few points that the CBS flash poll (Biden 51%, Ryan 31%, Dunno 18%).

All this will do is make people ask why isn’t Biden at the top of the ticket.

Not a loss for the Dems, but not really a win, either.

A win would be - would have been - the guy in charge showing up ready to rumble. There really isn’t anything that can compensate for that failure, or excuse it.

I give Biden the win - I disagree with most everything he believes, but he projected passion and leadership, which is what I believe is sorely lacking in American government. Obama and Ryan appear to make all of their moves based on the latest polling and it shows.

However, Martha Radditz was quite clearly allowing Biden to interrupt to a ridiculous extent (an old debate tacit to take the force out of an opponent’s reply) and made a habit of cutting Ryan off on rebuttal, which she did not do with Biden. She also challenged Ryan on his answers, without challenging Biden really at all. I won’t go so far as to say she was biased, but it was unbalanced moderation, and it will give the Ryan supports a leg to stand on.

Is anyone who bitched about Romney interrupting going to go on record condemning the same in Biden tonight?

The Catholic church is run by sexist, celibate old men who see woman only as vessels and nothing else. The last thing I want to is a country run by an overseas organization that shields pedophiles and nazis and tells women we are worth less than a fucking fertilized embryo.

Well, if the blogs I looked at are any indication, the Vice President did do one very important thing tonight: lifted the spirits of the President’s base and got them enthusiastic again.

Possibly a second, if the contrasting successes/failures of the two debates instructs the President’s next two. There were some quotes floating about that indicated that there were changes in the prep afoot even before this, but we’ll see what happens there.
