Despite all of its disadvantages (it’s uncomfortable and prone to shrinkage), the fabric vinalon is still used a lot in DPRK. Is it used anywhere else in the world? If you wanted to get a hold of some, where would you look?
Ebay? http://www.vinalon.eu/ ?
Well, it’s the Juche fabric, so it’s going to be big in NK.
I have not heard of it being used outside North Korea and see little references to it outside NK, where it exists mainly as a political gain.
I think the Nampho Dam is similar. It has been said to destroy farming land, which they desperately need. However, it is a major accomplishment of the North, so it is hailed.
