Wait just a dang minute. Bad bad bad Ms. Beck-brain, we gotta talk

I wonder if my quiet does affect the kids and pets.
The older 2 grandwrex sign pretty good.
But if I’m alone with the wrex I can speak good. They judge but they ask questions about it, I can usually answer their queries.
The adult kids text me or voice a question and I text them the answer.
Thank the Lord for technology.

Y’all can’t imagine what having a voice, here on Dope has done for me.
I know I over post sometimes. But it’s like the cold water after you’ve walked through the desert.

IME, you couldn’t over post. A Beckdawrek post is like a long drink of cold water at high noon~delicious and life giving!

You’re a sweetheart @BippityBoppityBoo

i heard someone mention that feeling as a “soul shower”. i thought that was the best description i ever heard. sums it up perfectly.

My heart breaks for Kid!Beck who had to endure the sadistic therapist. And @nelliebly , “Grandma Got Run Over By a Reindeer” isn’t torture enough. I recommend the dogs barking “Jingle Bells.”

If the neurosurgeon had to poke an actual hole in your skull to install the gizmo, the headache might be from fluctuating brain fluid. Drink LOTS of water, unless the Dialysis Dragon says differently.

Maybe after your stint as the Bionic Woman, you can sell Sleep Number beds with Lindsay Wagner.

Fabulous! I am so happy to read this.

I second this! I am so glad you are here for us.

I’m back at Rehab.
Thank god for a good dinner. And …I got what tasted like real vanilla icecream. I know it was low in carbs but I couldn’t tell by taste.

My friend cats didn’t forget me. Purring so loud I could feel it.

Things are looking up for ol’beck.

Definitely so!

Ah damn, Beck – I wish I’d have seen this sooner! Seizures fucking SUCK. :hugs:

I have had 3 days no seizures.
The neurologist gave me a good report today.

So I’m doing proper rehab to build my leg muscles up. So I can soon go home.

This is truly outstanding news, Beck. Sending lots of positive energy your way, to get you home soon!

finest kind of news!

Sorry about your predicament, wishing you a speedy recovery and thoroughly enjoying your adventures. Lots of love from the other side of the pond :hugs:

Yay! I’m so glad to hear this.

That is GREAT news. I know Bayliss misses you terribly.

So do the meezers, though they probably won’t admit it.

Glad to see that they can expect to see you soon!

So…I was at Dialysis this morning and the director came into my cubicle.
She is also director of the Rehab center. The two places are ran by the same company.
It seems they’ve spotted a new cat in the jail yard.

I’ve seen this cat. He is your classic alley cat. Beat up, nasty, and a crooked tail. Severely crooked, like it makes a L shape, down.
A pitiful cracking meow.

She said she was calling the pound.

Now I don’t like this.
They won’t give him a chance. He’s really not pleasant to look at. But still.

The director asked me did I think I could get Dot and Dash into a carrier so they could have a vet visit and have their yearly shots.

I said, yes I could. Or better yet give them the shots.

I held her hostage tho’. I want Alley Jojo to have at least one chance. He may be need to be euthanized. But I wanna know a vet looked first.

She said Hmmmm. And left.

After Diàlysis I went outside. There were 3 cats coming to me for treats.

Jojo was so happy. He purred so loud. Blinkie eyes at me.
I reached over and patted his head 2 times. He’s not a bit wild or feral. He lost his family somehow. My heart was breaking for him.

Later she called my cel and asked what I wanted to do to get Dot and Dash in a carrier for her.
I told her I wanted Jojo looked at by the vet and try to treat him and clean him up.

She said “Oh, god you’ve named him”
That works everytime.

Yeah, I’m evil in my machinations to get my way.

So, this is the program the tomorrow. After breakfast I’m going out. The carrier will already be there. Treats for the cats in hand I’m enticing them to me and I’m gonna pick them up and put them in the crate.

But, Jojo might be skittish.
So, Son-of-a-wrek is coming to dart him from a distance outside the jail yard.
You would not believe what we went thru to get this ok’d by LE. But a sheriff deputy is gonna meet him there.

I will adopt Jojo if he gets healthy and clean and doesn’t have that disease, feline leukemia. I told the director I’ll pay vet charges.

How do I get myself in these kinda things?

Gah!

  1. Your Small Animal Field.
  2. Your outsized heart. <3

:hugs:
I’m an easy mark. All animals know this.
