I just tried to use strikeover on a 4 and and it didn’t work. And it doesn’t work on multiple 4’s.

The strikethrough line goes right over the crossbar in the 4. It’s there, but you can’t see it.
Looks like [del]4[/del] [del]44[/del] [del]444[/del] works for me…
Yes, on my Chrome, the 4s are displaying with a second strikethrough line above the crossbar.
Yes, but is over the 4, or under the 4?
4 4 [del]4[/del] 4 4
It’s invisible in Firefox. I can’t see any difference in the 4’s even when I blow up the page to several times normal size. I do see the crossbar in IE.
Weird. I never noticed that before.
And we could use a “weird” smilie.

I’m using Chrome; sounds like a browser issue. :dubious: Also, about half of the ones posted by Moriah don’t show up as barred in Safari.
It has nothing to do with your browser. It depends on the font design.
It’s totally a browser issue. Every one of those fonts clearly shows the strikeout in IE, exactly 2 do in Firefox.
Does this mean when we make a numbered list we have to reference Opal in #3 and strike out #4?
What’s the problem?

I’m on Safari, and I can’t even see an option to do strike-through at all. Can you do it on Safari?

Works fine. It’s those new-fangled Arabic numerals that are the problem!
They’re talking about the [noparse][del][/del][/noparse] tags.
I am on chrome and I can see it.

What happens if you try to make the number and strikeout a different color with 4?
Though if I remember right some browsers don’t even let you see it in a different color to begin with, while others do. Looks like Chrome doesn’t…
edit: and looks like Firefox gives you a 4 with part of it in red.

Close enough.
Very nice.
