[qoute]LOS ANGELES, California (Reuters) – One of three women finalists on the hit Fox reality show “Joe Millionaire” has starred under another name in dozens of bondage and fetish films, a Web site reported Wednesday.

It appears CNN sees nothing of importance going on in the world, so they throw in stories about some ladies’ personal life because she happns to be on a lousy TV show nobody watches.
Not only is the piece completely pointless, but I can’t imagine it having any purpose except sensationalization to grab more viewers. Pathetic.
They may as well rename themselves “World Weekly News Network” and forget the fucking idea of looking like a professional organization.
They do too much of this shit.
CNN: WHO GIVES A FUCK ABOUT THIS GODDAM WOMAN??? WE ARE ABOUT TO GO TO WAR AND YOU WANT TO REPORT SOME WOMAN’S SEXUAL HABITS??
Grow the fuck up, pull your head’s out of your asses, and stick to shit that matters!
Good fucking God! No wonder nobody gives a shit what you have to say.
I like Joe Millionaire, but I agree, it’s not really news.
I hate the news ticker that’s always scrolling across the bottom of the screen announcing the top five movies of the week and celebrities birthdays. I wish they would get rid of that thing.
I think it is news, but not BIG news. More of the “gee, that’s interesting” type, than the “my god!” sort of info. I don’t much care the woman was in those videos, but dirt is always fun to hear. I mean, the woman starred in these videos that were distributed for public consumption. It’s not exactly private.
Plus, they actually got a FOX executive to say “We do not comment on the personal lives of our reality show contestants.”
It’s no big deal. It’s not like it’s on the main news page, it’s on the entertainment page where it belongs. News agencies, even serious ones, have long reported on stuff like this. Many people are gossipy enough to care about stuff like this, at least enough to skim over it on their way to the sports page after reading the State of the Union address, and I see nothing wrong with news agencies reporting on it. As long as they keep in the right location (off the front page and in the entertainment or society pages) then what’s the big deal?
I can’t comment on what coverage it’s getting on TV because I don’t have cable.
The sick part is that people do watch this shit and treat it as news. You know E! news and Entertainment Tonight are going to be all over this. Thusly they get ratings for reporting it. Ratings beget higher ad revenue… you get the picture. Crap like this is why I don’t even watch tv news anymore. Stick to NPR. At least their crap is still informative.
On my way into work this morning I saw this bit in a newspaper one of my fellow commuters was holding. At least they had the courtesy to publish lots of photos of her from her various bondage photo sessions.
Now pictures of a women dressed as a cheerleader and hogtied, that my friend is NEWS
lieu, too true, and can you imagine what sort of revenue the footage could bring in for the government?
But also, World Eater, that’s a point I had in my mind but forgot to make. Since CNN is not affiliated with FOX, I was even more disturbed because it’s obvious they don’t have anything to gain by “reporting” this.
“Rubbing the noses” of FOX executives in this is not exactly a good plan. I mean, most people don’t care, and I would wager that most of who do care will either be outraged they let this woman on TV or outraged they didn’t let, um, more of this woman on TV, if you get my meaning.
Which one was in the videos? Oooh, I look forward to watching the next episode and trying to guess. Then I will tune in to CNN and find out if I was right!
What’s not newsworthy about this?
Hey, the whole Iraq thing is just another war. This chick was in bondage videos!
I learned the hard way about CNN a few months ago. All they wish to do, it seems, is incite moral outrage and obtain ratings. Isn’t Connie Chung on CNN?
While I agree it’s not news, but is entertaintment news, I gotta call you on this one. Considering it’s one of the highest rated shows on TV right now, you can’t really claim that nobody is watching.
