(Old) Wassup, doc, in the MMP?

Evening all. Working on assimilating my evening meal while typing, so this will be interrupted (chomp) at times (chew). Still have to get the garbage bin to the curb tonight, but need to finishing the indoor collection process. Electric bill is still under 3 figures, but I suspect that won’t be the case for the next few months. (crunches some Pringles).

(Chomp) and 25+ messages to visit. Best start now so it might still be light outside when I take the bin out.

Oh, and got another 2027 calendar in the mail (from the Nature Conservancy). At this rate I’ll be able to open my own shop…

Herald, glad to be of assistance…

Lucky, I have a hand-held to (Shark brand) and find it useful, especially in my computer room, where I have a area carpet down to protect the wood floor from my wheeled chair.

FCM, glad the new ice maker made it and is performing well. And happy birthday to the Grand Old Feline. And the yard is looking great.

And that’s all for now. Ham, cheese, bread and tater chips are happily digesting now and I’ll get the garbage out while there is still light in the sky. Have a good evening/morning all.

I actually like the soda being a little diluted by ice along with colder, but that’s just me.

Swamp, I hope you werent holding your breath. Procrastination is my biggest fault.
Okay, not sure how humorous it is but some will say, Oh silly suntan.
So in late March I became aware of a local " character" in our weird city.
He takes his shirt off, even in winter, dances around, rapping about Jesus.
Sometimes gets cited for trespass.
So I see hes in jail. Its been years since I’ve had a relationship so I decided to communicate with him in jail ( there was no visits, something about the elevators). Also put a 10 on his commissary.
We message a few days, he gets out, comes over and takes me to his bank and gives me 20, just in gratitude.
We spend most of the day together. At night he wants me to spend with him in hia tent. Hes homeless.
I prefer a working toilet so turn him down.
We have relations.
He goes to rehab few days later ( meth).
We also get together may 13 and the 24th. Im leaving details out as I dont want this to be too long. Hes in a different rehab now, dont know where. Hes 43, gotta be younger.

On a different note, still trying lottery, its less depressing than standing outside begging.

Its been 3 weeks since I got my right cataract removed. Medicaid only covers mono so will have to get a new right lens for glasses, not covered by medicaid. Not doing left one yet.
No complications. Feels weird without glasses. I prefer them.

Howdy Y’all! We procured and stowed provisions early this mornin’ (well, for us) and then had quality cee-mint pond time. I think tomorrow will be more quality cee-mint pond time. Outside of that, sup got fixed and et. We do RDOS well!

Taters hope all goes well with your mom when she’s back home.

Herald yay for the return of Lily (N.O.L. cause as far as I know she has not wandered off)! The song is a hoot!

Mollie glad you feel a little better today.

JtC you are the best kind of neighbor! I remember as a kid in my 'hood whenever there was a death copious amounts of food showed up along with offers to help clean or whatever was needed. I am sure that does not happen much anymore.

Coppertone sounds like quite the character. I’m glad you had a little fun. I have worn glasses for so long I know it would be weird to not wear them. Glad you haven’t had any complications from the cataract surgery.

A fly got in this morning and Jolene has been stalking and chasing all day. I left the fly to her because entertainment.

She finally killed the fly to death. Instead of eating it herself, she brought it to George and dropped it in front of him. He just looked at her like “TF do you expect me to do with that?” and walked off.

Gahhh, I always forget about them!

boofae, enjoy the pub night! I think you’re ready for one.

Ugghh, thanks for the reminder that I need to give my rain gutters a clean! Those things are awful and I have a ton of them thanks to living among the Douglas firs. Hope the mowin’ and blowin’ went well for you today. And I’ll add my wishes to swampy’s for a successful transition for your mom back home.

wet one, I hope Ariel’s owie heals fast. Poor girl!

herald, I’m so glad Lily (N.O.L.) is home, safe and sound.

Glad you got a good night’s sleep, red. Nice to be back in your own bed, I’m sure. And sorry you had to bathe your little sweetie for rolling in some yuck. Ollie loves to do that, too. Asshole.

Lily, I hope the medical concerns for you and your lovely wife are soon in the rear view mirror.

FCM, I’ll add my good birthday wishes for Ziva. I hope you have her for some time to come.

Nut, I’m glad you have the health care system you do. It gives we Americans an example of how much better things can be, if we just strive. Your dentist’s exterior office notwithstanding.

JtC, Harry is fortunate to have you and Hubs as his neighbors. It will probably take awhile for the shock to wear off. He’ll really need you then.

metal mouse, I think we’re having the same dinner. Only I like to scoop cottage cheese onto my potato chips in the hope of adding protein and making it a more healthful < chortle > meal.

Late entry: JtC, I love Jolene and GG stories! Thanks for sharing this one!

I was rudely productive today! Sorted through some papers I needed to get to, then went out and trimmed a bunch of shrubbery and capped off this excessive busy-ness with finishing up the mowing I needed to do. Had a smug mug of tea to celebrate when all was done.

The rest of the week is going to be unpleasantly hot, so I was working against this deadline. Sunday will be close to 100F. (!!!) Lots of indoor chores to be done while I wait for the weather to become sane again.

Off to scare up the sammich and chips for dinner and concoct Ollie’s evening gruel. Have great nights, all!

Up from naptime, having a martini and chicken with cavatappi. Spot is somewhere being cat and mysterious.

Human Lilly and Feline Lilly

Happy Birthday Ziva!

Yep. And United Healthcare takes it to 11.

I imagine. And glad you had some fun.

Currently I am writing this from our hotel room. The plumbing repairs were not successful. Our bathrooms are now both out of order and we must wait for a permit to be gotten before the problem can be repaired. So, at most we will be here until the 18th. That is unless they get the permit sooner. They believe that the main line to the house is clogged. It will be necessary to take out the two bushes in behind the house and dig a hole possibly tearing up the concrete of the deck. It will most likely go all the way to the street. By the way, our neighbors have just been having the same issue recently. Well, anyways, between the repairs and the pet friendly, accessible hotel it’s going to cost between 12 and 14 thousand. And on that note, I’m going to go to bed and hope that it’s comfy and that I can sleep.

I’m taking it in the spirit intended, as a friend giving another friend advice. I’m still learning. Most of my girl clothes are just girl versions of my boy clothes, because I understand pants and shirts. I’ve got a while to figure this out.

How many women DON’T rant about the pocket issue? You really don’t want to get me going on that.

That’s looking great!

Thank you. I really did not want to offend, but girl clothes are way too complicated even if one has been wearing them since birth.

Yanno those little hooks in the inside of clothes hangers? These?

Those are so you can use those useless little loops on your blouses to stop them from sagging and falling off the hangers. The thing I never figured out is that you can also use those little hooks with skirts to stop them from sagging in the closet.

This shit just keeps getting more complicated and I’m glad I’m mostly done with it!

Oy gevalt.

Oh this really bites. You have my very sincere sympathy, plumbing issues are so expensive and digging to the street can’t be cheap.

Velvet coated hangers work too. Three for a buck at the dollar sto’.

Yes! We have a shit load of them from Costco.

Ugh, I need to have a conversation with my boss about the outside of the organization designer. She is not treating some of the team members right. I am so not looking forward to this. I could just let it go and deal with it, but this will be an issue for the next 2 years.

I think you’re thinking of somebody else?

TRUTH

Heheheheh.

Oh jeeebus.

Deal!

Up, caffeinated, and sheveled. Off to heave. It’s currentLy 76 degrees Ferret Height(24.444 Centipedes)

:open_mouth:

Hope you do get some sleep at least.

Beats dealing with it for 2 years.
:bottle_with_popping_cork: :birthday_cake: :partying_face:HAPPY BIRTHDAY VANGO!!! :birthday_cake: :bottle_with_popping_cork:

A while back you talked about wanting to go to medical sonography school~unless Jane and I are sharing delusions. I thought it was a great idea.
