Iceland is a fucking banana republic when it comes to certain issues, but it is heaven compaered to the bloodthirsty Goo Ol U.S of A, who create small wars here and there to boost up the economy, which relies alot on arms sales abroad, and then fly in and “rescue” everybody. And they do so with airpower becuse they don’t have the guts to FACE an nemy. Also anyone knows the American army is worst in the western world. The Brittish and the French have the right stuff, anything else is just a toy. America has never won a war on its own, if you cout out the civil war and Granada(what? 12 Cuban soldiers and you have to make a movie about it?)

If we made serious verbal attacks on your country you would get quite nationalistic, and you too would flame those of us who are making fun of iceland (Ooops, too late, you ARE doing just that!). The United States is FAR from perfect, yet, you and all of the other Íslendingur who seem to prejudge the ENTIRE populace of the United States (What if i said all icelanders were whale eating, pasty skinned, snobs? You complain that those of us who have sufficient faculty (NOT PERFECT control, even most native English speakers do not have perfect control) over English just want this for English speakers. Well, i hate to break it to you but MOST of the people here speak English with some fluency. You take your chances with web sites that aren’t in your native language. NO ONE has told you you cannot come here. If you want to be understood in a second language, expect to learn enough of it to make sense. I dont expect people who speak Spanish to hold my hand and accept that Spanish is just not my language so they should all pay no mind when i don’t make sense in it.

is seems like i have to clear up some details about this mess here. first of all, i try to refrain from personally attacking anybody unless that person really deserves it, the reason i posted on this thread is not to argue about the topic, i was and am still trying to explain to people that beating their wife wont do no one any good. it may be that someone raped papabears g.g.g.g.g.g.grandmother as he claims (i do take things said seriously) but im also sure that person is quite dead now, and stirring up the dead never did anyone any good!

You made a specific point which contained a «technical» error. I pointed out the «technical» correction simply for your information. I did not challenge your statement or your conclusion. I did not insult you. If you choose to raise points of law with folks from the U.K., the U.S., and Canada, it will probably be of benefit to your discussion to know that we do not follow the Napoleanic code. BjOrn, if you are complaining because I tweaked Thorleifur on wondering/wandering, then you are far too sensitive to post on this board. I did not assume that it was a misspelling. I assumed that it was a typographical error (of the sort that I, myself, often make). I just found it to be a convenient hook into my response.
BjOrn, a “hook” (as I used the word) is an opening sentence that “catches” the eye and draws the reader into examining the rest of the post/article/essay/novel. It is not a barb to wound another or a fist swung with a circular motion to beat another.
The use of colloquialisms seems to confuse you.
Since I am looking to avoid fights (note that I have, so far, offered no opinion on the topic and made no attacks on any people) while you are looking to embroil yourself in fights, I will simply have to ignore you from now on. :::shrug:::
