Heated Dr. Pepper is only good in bitterly cold weather. You should microwave it.

Ahhh… well, you weren’t around for The Great Ice Storm of 1997. Houston got 3 inches of snow, and was buried under a sheet of ice millimeters thick. The entire city shut down for three days. It was horrible.

You’re right. You do suck. We were buried under three feet of snow this past February, and the only problems we had were with people taking parking spots that we had dug out.

Hey, wait. I was there (in fact, the ice broke off huge branches from the tree in my front yard, and darn near killed it.) I don’t recall it being snow - sleet and freezing rain, yes, but not snow.

Hey, I remember that! I was senior in high school. We got ushered out of school when power failed; we were without power for a couple days. I remember my mother complaining that the richer neighborhoods got their power restored a day before the poorer neighborhoods (of which ours was one). It was also the first time I tried driving on icy roads. I threw my car into a spin accidentally on Cypress-North Houston.
