Time for me to watch the Friday Night Bad Movie (late, Culinary Boy wasn’t in the mood to watch it and I didn’t catch Irish Brother in time to see if he could Netflix stream it at his house) and crochet on my dish towel thingy. I had a ball of yarn left over from Culinary Boy’s Birthday/Christmas scarf and it was annoying me.
Eventually I will work on my cover letter, but I think I’ll wait until tonight to draft it and type it out tomorrow. I haven’t written anything that’s required planning for a while and that part of my brain has atrophied. It’s working now…subconsciously. This is why it took me two years to write a thesis–I do it subconsciously and then pry it out sentence by sentence. :smack: :smack::smack:<-- me writing.
Up been for brekkie then ran by Home Depot to get new shower heads for the master bath and tried to get new shower fittings for the hall bath. Come to find out that when the house was built they used some weird type of connection and we may not be able to simply change out the fittings but might have to remove tile/wall/pull the damn thing out etc not what I needed to hear when I am trying to figure out where to get the money from to make up the short fall between what we can sell the house for and what we owe on it…next step call the bank on Monday and see if there is any thing they are willing to help with

We deheathenated, oohed and ahhed over Ella, lunched, went by a drop by graduation doin’s and now I’m at da cave and OYKW is at his place doin’ laundry. I may mosey on over there in a little while and drag him out for sump’n to eat. Or not. I’s tahred!

The afghan is quite large. Laundry is done. Dishwasher is emptied and refilled. Sun is shining. Not sure what supper will be. Does someone want to bring me something?? Purty pleeeeeese?? <insert sad puppy dog eyes>
So, who’s startin’ us off tomorrow? I must be tahrd I misspelled us. I went over to OYKW’s place and we went to the Quickie (local diner thingy) for dindin. It was adequate. Or, as we like to say, “We’re havin’ a Quickie!” It’s funnier if you say it at lunch. What?
