I missed the memo - I thought this forum was MPSIMS, not encomiums.
Stranger was overall an addition to the board. Better than many. But IMO he certainly was not perfect as several people here seemed to to suggest. Unfortunate that you consider expressing such an opinion gauche - but I’ve been accused of worse.
Stranger is one of my favorite posters, his knowledge on topics that interest me require me to analyze the verbosity. Such is life, I get to exercise both my vocabulary and my logic..
And this is the problem. He doesn’t issue the retraction and apologize when he’s objectively wrong on a topic where someone knows better.
