Excellent.
I wish that more people knew how this smelled! They’d stop drinking shitty “beer”.

I see a few people like the smell of sulfur. I absolute adore it, although not all the time. I grew up on an active volcano so it makes me think of my childhood and visiting the sulfur vents. sigh.
My own poop.
And if you say you don’t like the smell of your own, I will be the first to call you a liar.
Newly-printed money.
Gasoline.
Rain.
Styrofoam.
Aspen cologne. Weird because no one has worn this stuff for years. I love it because it reminds me of high school. We used to get stoned on the way to school every morning and drench ourselves in Aspen to cover the smell up. I try not to smell it too often though (maybe once a year) because I don’t want it to get associated with anything else, I always know I can recall glorious details of those days with the faintest whiff of Aspen.
Also, when I listen to old CD’s that I haven’t listened to in years I can mentally “smell” my first car. I pretty much hated the smell at the time but I love remembering it now because it reminds me of all the good times I had in that car. Am I a complete loon or does any of this make sense to you guys?
Model glue
Gasoline
WD40
New book smell (open the book up in the center and take a long snort… ahhh)
Cedar logs on a logging truck you’re driving behind
The cool air blowing out from the local storm sewers by the river
Fallen leaves on a warm fall day.
“Sometimes when I get nervous, I put my fingers under my arms then I smell them like…this!” - Mary Catherine Gallagher
That funky smell under my watch.
So I like my own smell, sue me, I’m French.
Driving behind a semi-truck that is pulling two loads of garlic bulbs.
Driving through wine country at harvest time. The spoiled grapes get piled on the side of the highway and a pungeunt, fermented, yeasty, wine smell permeates the air. It’s very heady.

Pipe smoke (especially if it’s cherry tobacco.)
Catnip.
Mouldering leaves.
Fireplace smoke.
Acrylic nail goop, before it hardens.
Freshly cut lawn.
My husband’s beard.
Buy a bag of wintergreen lifesavers.
Open it.
Quickly now, get a huge whiff of the mintyness…
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh…
New shoes and the smell of film and paper fixer. Mmm, film fix.
I absolutely love the smell of electronics. My aunt and uncle own a digital imaging/recording studio and when I was a child I would clean it in exchange for money. Man…I loved how it smelled. All those computers and other weird gadgets…mmm…
Cat spit
Static electricity
Earrings, right after removing them from your ears
Potting soil
Vinegar–anything pickled
Bleach
Lots of things:

Methinks I have a penchant for toxic chemicals here.
Diesel fuel - reminds me of going to the county fair as a child.
I love the smell of many things already mentioned here:
Wintergreen Lifesavers
Gasoline
WD 40
The “auto” smell (engine smell - hubby is a mechanic)
Also, the exhaust of an older pickup truck
Men’s cologne, especially Preferred Stock! Mmmmm
Broccoli
Murphy’s Wood Soap
Turkey and dressing on Thanksgiving
New car smell
Crayons
On the subject of paper, I remember getting airline tickets in 86 and they smelled wonderful! I don’t know if it was the ink or what, but it was great. I have the receipt in my scrapbook, and I can still smell the scent even this many years later.
Windex. I don’t know why, but I love the smell of Windex and most other cleansers.
I forgit to say Black Licorice. Almost as good as my above mentioned Windex.
Lots of things already mentioned so far, especially diesel fuel, and jet fuel at the end of the runway that I drive past going to and from work.
I like the smell of National Geographic when it first arrives in the mail. It must be the ink.
Trains. There’s a sort of cold, oily smell to a train–especially when one is passing from one car to another–that can’t be described, just experienced.
Odd thing is, I can’t stand the only other two smells that come close (Liquid Wrench and gun oil). Must be the fact that I associate the “train” smell with going back and forth to college in Montana in the late '60’s.
Petrol (a.k.a. gasoline).
Hardware stores - they smell like a cross between sawdust, paint and misguided testosterone.
New car smell.
New computer equipment.
Beer.
WD-40.
Motor oil.
Rain.
The local fresh produce market - smells like a cross between rotting fruit and polish sausage.
Formula 1 racing fuel (if you get a chance to go to an F1 Grand Prix, do it just for the smell of the fuel!).
Old trains.
Really old houses.
The Yellow Pages.
Hospitals, doctors surgeries etc (so clean smelling!).
Latex gloves.
Whiteboard markers.
Our pets’ fur.
Certain brands of fabric softener.
Dry cleaning.
Given the title, wouldn’t Weirddave qualify?
I like the smell of Dettol, Penaten cream, and baby’s heads.
