Well, for a while we have had 3 dogs. Here is a group shot from a few years ago. Now the German Shepherd is an adult, and sadly the dog on the far right died last year from splenic cancer (although she was in remission for 3 years prior).
We have since fostered a few dogs in our household, including a couple of very cute puppies.
Then we found Loki. Yesterday she joined the pack. I have to admit to being pretty good at picking winners. Last night we all went for a long walk in the woods. By the time we arrived home again, she was pooped and fell asleep in my arms on the porch.
So, we are off to a great start. This weekend we’ll see how she does on the pontoon boat. So far it is a big step up from the shelter. Here she is telling the Shepherd what’s up.
