Welcome aboard, LoganDear. I agree that the intimidation factor of this board is very high. On other boards I have much less trouble posting, probably because I feel at least as intelligent as (if not smarter than) the average poster. Here, I’m merely average at best.
There’s probably some maxim or quote that could succinctly illustrate my feelings on the matter, but I can’t think of anything relevant at the moment. Maybe someone can help me out. How about, “I’d rather be an average King than an outstanding peasant”?

Or how about, “I’d rather have a bottle in front of me than a frontal lobotomy?” Works for me…I find a little liquid courage makes it much easier to hit that “Submit Reply” button. 
Then again, it also makes me start sentences with “or.”
I start sentences inappropriately lots of times when I’ve had nothing stronger to drink than coffee. And I don’t care. Or, if I do care, I don’t let it stope me.
