Welcome to February - a pure MMP

I say you should start us off BioRosie, just cause. That is if we don’t already have a volunteer.

Soapy glad your family and you are ok but dang! I guess the best we can do is keep the families of those who died in our thoughts and prayers and hope most everybody made it out alive.

Brunch was good, as usual. Afterwards we had a Liturgy Committee meeting which meant I got home around two this afternoon. We had to discuss Lent, Holy Week and how to fit in our St. Patrick’s celebration. That’s a tough thing about having a church named after a Saint’s whose Saint Day falls during Lent every year.

I have started on defilthyfication. The master bedroom and bath and kitchen are spiffed. Next up the livin’ and dinin’ rooms.

Later

ETA: Muppet you slacker! Pre-made cheese! I am appalled! :stuck_out_tongue:

We don’t have a volunteer lined up, so I vote for rosie as well!!!

Took a nap.

Need to get some work done and Valentines put together.

But I feel like another nap.

Back later with further reports.

GT

My daughter says thank you for the birthday wishes, GT! We also spent part of the afternoon working on valentines. grins I gotta whole bunch of glitter glue, but have been restraining myself … really.

{{{{{{{Soapy}}}}}}}} and her fellow citizens, esp. the EMT/fire and police dept. people. What a terrible thing to have happen. :frowning:

The fed. govt. will be closed in the DC metro area tomorrow - it was decided that it would be too dangerous, as there are some roads that haven’t been plowed at all yet. And many people are still without power. I frankly don’t see how I am going to get around in it, even after plowing and digging out, but I guess I’ll manage. Temps are going below freezing tonight, so tomorrow morning everything will be frozen up.

Stay warm everyone!

I got dressed. TVMan decided that he wanted to go to Best Buy and we had a few other places to go.

Now I’m back home and screwing around on here instead of doing something that I really need to get done. Go me!

I’d better get to work before **swampy **gives me a talking to. :stuck_out_tongue:

CutiePie, young lady, have you done whatever that is you need to get done? No? Well, it’s not going to do itself you know! Now march right in there and get busy. The sooner you start the sooner you finish. Don’t give me that look! Do you want your face to freeze like that! Now march!

If you’re finished, nevermind!

Whew! The cave is all spiffed. Go Me!

Ok, do we need to put this to a vote?

All in favor of BioRosie startin’ us off tomorrow say “Aye”.

AYE!!!

All opposed [del]like we care[/del] say “Nay”.

::CRICKETS::

The “Ayes” have it! BioRosie shall be our hostess with the mostest.

I’m so proud to be participating in this democracy!

Me too! Especially when one gets to invoke the unwritten Mumper rule:

She or he who asks if there’s anybody scheduled to start the MMP shall be [del]drafted[/del] voted by a majority of Mumpers to be said starter if no one is on board to start the new MMP.

Or, the simplified version:

You asked, so it’s yours.

See what happens when I log off for 4 hours?!? sheesh!

I’ll think of something mump-worthy and post tonight before I zonk out

Oh Please! You could post the first sixteen lines of the Prologue To The Cantebury Tales or let Smokey walk across the keyboard a few times and we’d go with it.

Didn’t doggio’s cat start an MMP once? If Lucretia could start one, Smokey could too.

mump-worthy? That made me giggle!

Lasagna was very yum. I’m knitting as we watch football. I’m going to turn off the computer now and see you all in the next MMP!

MWAH!!! :heart::heart::heart::heart::heart::heart:

Cat on a Keyboard-A nonhijacked MMP

Had to work after all. I went grocery shopping, Gordie knocked a bag out of my hand when I got home, and broke a dozen eggs. He is on The List.

I’m done now, thanks. Or at least I’ve sent out emails and have to wait for responses before I can proceed further.

What to do now? :stuck_out_tongue:

Lasagna is in the oven. Also, almost every cooking utensil and mixing bowl and cutting board I own is now dirty, along with several pots and pans.

Now I remember why I only make lasagna once every couple of years.

I don’t suppose the Kitchen Elves will make an appearance and wash my dishes for me, huh? Oh well, Im’a go crochet for a while and hope that they show up in the meantime. (or maybe The Boy will feel guilty enough that he’ll take care of it… yeah, that’s the ticket)

it’s not real lasagna - the cheese was store-bought. :stuck_out_tongue:

Here. Now stop [del]drafting[/del] volunteering me.

Wow. I killed 2 MMPs! Go me!
